That piano player is awesome... He always plays with the bands and I don't even see sheet music this time! This song is also really hard to follow the beat to... Anyone know if the drummer is playing off beat?

I know your comment is over four years old, but here's my thoughts. I'm a drummer and what the drummer (Ben Sesar) is playing is a train beat. It's basically just continuous 16th notes with an accent on the count of two and four. During the chorus there's another accent on the E of 2 and 4. Like 1 - E - And - A - 2 - E - And - A and so on. I hope that explains things for ya. It sounds like he is off, but he's just extending it a little further than usual to give the song the sound of a train rolling down the tracks.
