You never heard that song before now? That’s surprising! I watched this in 2005 and it broke my heart too! Very common reality for military and their loved ones. life goes on in the states. Life passes by quickly here where it stands still there. God bless those who are going through such struggles. It’s never too late. It’s a very meaningful song.

What a tear jerker. So sad, and yet so many have gone through this scenario upon coming home from active duty. Did you notice the soldier was Ricky Schroeder, who played on silver spoons? Just an FYI there. I do also understand that for a woman to wait 20, 30 years not knowing anything only to send letters and wait 6 months at a time, only to wait and wait then to find out you saved yourself for someone who ended up dead is a real situation Aswell, and then have to find someone in your late 30s early 40s is a real thing Aswell, this is tough I've listened to this song 1000 times and still cry and get a thick throat for both of the scenarios, man i just wish love made no mistakes and was permanent,

I haven't been on in a while so I don't know the problems you are having. What I know is that God is bigger than the problem. With Christ as your Savior, all can be forgiven. You have to go first.You are the head of the household. God can heal your relationship and make it better. It is so worth it to stay with the one you have the memories with! Don't give that up. All of the photos you've taken won't mean as much if those in them aren't together in old age. You know each other as no others know you. Don't ask God to change her.
