For clarification, they didn't commit suicide by guns. They killed themselves by drinking themselves to death, unintentionally. One big question I have for the reaction community: the song is called WHISKEY Lullaby, and it's a COUNTRY song... why does everyone act so surprised when they listen to it and it turns out to be sad?!!! 😂😂😂 As for Allison Krauss, she has won 27 Grammy's! This girl can sing! I would L😍VE for you to react to another one of her songs, Jacob's Dream. Keep the tissue box handy, it's a powerful one! Originally Allison didn't want to record it, because it was too sad of a song! kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqjEi4uLoaumr9E

Allison Krauss is superbly blessed with the voice an angel. She has performed and recorded with countless fine musicians. I don't usually listen to country either, Jayvon, although I was married for 24 years, to a southern guitar player who was a bluegrass afficionado. I went from my world, to total immersion in old country and bluegrass. When you walk through the door into that world, you will discover some of the most amazing voices anywhere. Off the top of my head, I would suggest, among a hundred others, the beautiful harmonies in 'Whenever I Call Your Name'- co-written (with Tim DuBois) and performed by Vince Gill, who happens to have an extremely smooth voice, and is a fantastic guitar picker, and the talented Patti Loveless holding the harmonies. This is a classic country combination of piano, steel guitar and heartache. I could go back and second guess a recommendation, but honestly, I'd be here all night. There are so many artists and sub-genres under the wide category of country. It's like a box o' chocolates. Try a few! kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6jQeIp5f7SrpNk

This song gets me Everytime. Especially with the base of the video being a veteran going through it and taking his life. I have many friends that are veterans and suicide among veterans is a real and tragic reality we face. None of our military men and women should ever have to feel like that's the answer especially after all of the sacrifices they make to protect us and our freedom. There needs to be more done to help them. And more done to show how grateful we are to them.

People fall into this situation all the time. Guys going off to war are scared they won’t come back. They rush into marriage before they leave. Which gives them something worth fighting for and reason to love and come back. But at the same time you are asking your wife to go without sex and a companion for months or years at a time that should be the honeymoon portion of the marriage. It’s a tough spot for both.

The final roll call is enough to bring the hardest of us to tears. A lesson to the young servicemembers, #1 Do not fall into the military love trap just because you don't have a GFBF or a person with multiple kids, #2 focus on your career, #3 work your ass off, #4 Listen to your superiors (buy a car with your SGT to make sure you're not being taking advantage of). 5#financial counseling/consulting. 6# alcohol is a death sentence (I'm there now) #7 leave your ego at the door. Good luck to all of you. Respect to all who have already done everything. -Army SGT-
