Brad is like the quintessential gorgeous man. Even if he's not your type, you know he's undeniably beautiful. I’m a bit young to have experienced the 90’s hype around him (I was born in 95) but it literally doesn’t matter bc his movies are timeless and HE is timeless and ageless. It’s cool that he’s still around making movies for us :’) he’ll always be super handsome and iconic. There's nothing wrong with being older; eg Paul Rudd, Mark Strong, Simon Pegg, Ian McKellan, Patrick Stweart, Keanu Reaves etc. I like those guys because they come across as intelligent and supportive of today's issues. On the other hand, these two guys feel old because they come from an era when the women playing against them have to be half their age and god forbid utter more than 10 lines.... they were marketed based on their looks then talent and of course, can only act against hot women so god forbid a woman their age shares the same screen as them. Therefore when I look at them, I see two men from a different era. Whereas when I look at other actors in their 50s and still killing it, I see diversity, the ability to adapt and humour... I liked some of Brad Pitt's older movies but now I feel as if he and Leo can only ever act with "big" hollywood producers and hot women. They don't seem willing to venture outside their comfort zone and try some innovative newer projects. Hell, even Anthony Hopkins is doing that! There's no diversity in what they do anymore. I personally never found either attractive because of that. Good looks are one thing; being able to adapt and try new stuff is something else! Maybe we'll see a revival when they turn 60 or 70 and no one wants to put a 25 year old opposite them?
