Listened to this talk. What if I'm not really sure of all the reasons ex broke up now. Amidst multitude of start problems and looking forward both to future together. She decided not to continue moving forward. Maybe there's a little bit more there , actually might just be that the negative impacts started outweighed positive role. That's something she doesn't want in life anymore future.

In most cases I've worked with, it's usually a combination of different things/issue which snowballed into one giant mess that leads to a breakup. This is why giving yourselves time and space apart to think clearly and get your emotions sorted is the best move after a breakup. Your relationship is unique and the same goes for your issues in the relationship. Here are some tips to remember if you're trying to win an ex back and how important Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) is: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYWvm6yYrs6UeLM In the future, if you're still not sure about what you're doing, I really suggest you sign up for my coaching program so I can assess your situation properly and guide you accordingly at www.breakupbrad.com/coaching

@BradBrowning3 жыл бұрын
It's a possibility, but make sure try to see if she is healthy for you to begin with. You both have to process the breakup first and go through all that pain and slowly let go of the bad memories...It is a process, but this is what the "no contact" rule is for, to help both of you move forward from that pain. A reconciliation with an ex means there will be a new relationship between you two where the lessons of the past are taken into consideration in order to resolve it to create a better relationship in the future. Does that make sense? Give your ex time to let go of the bad memories, however, this won't happen overnight and for sure takes time, so don't rush. Follow the tips on my other vids, especially this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fH3IgWSbh6ieec0 Good luck!

Hi Brad, thank you for this video and many others. My Ex did reach out eventually with a birthday email telling me he loved and missed me in addition to other things. I replied back in a nice and polite way without seeming too eager and thanked him for saying what he did and for remembering my birthday. I haven’t received a reply or heard from him at all, in fact he’s deleted Snapchat which was primarily how we would communicate with each other back when we were together. I don’t understand and I’m very confused.

This really depends. How long has it been since the breakup and have you cut off contact for 30 days yet? If you haven't cut off contact yet for at least 30 days, then you should prioritize that instead of interacting your ex. On the other hand, IF you have already cut off contact, then you're on the right track. There's no need to redo the no contact just because your ex cut the conversation short. Watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gX6wp2yin8mloc0 and be guided accordingly based on the phases of what needs to happen, here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXvXnomYedCVotk

With on-and-off relationships, oftentimes this is a sign of underlying issues which have been left unaddressed for quite some time. It may be time to put things into perspective while it's still early because in 14 years spent as a relationship online coach alone, I find that a breakup is often NOT just one person's fault, so look at the roles that you've BOTH played that led to the breakup and if the issues have a chance to get resolved, and how to go about it. In most cases, the problems that led to the breakup can be resolved, but in some cases, it can't. So take time to evaluate, okay? However, I have to warn you not to ask the reasons from your ex. This is what I've discussed here along with other stuff that might help you, so this is a must-watch: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKKkdpxvhcd4d6M But if you're interested in making this your last breakup, sign up for my coaching program at www.breakupbrad.com/coaching especially if there's an available spot. Don't let that affect you as much as you have no control over it. Maybe stop trying to look at your ex's profile/messages/snaps, posts,etc.? Especially if you tend to overanalyze. An essential part of the "no contact" rule is to turn your focus inwards for a good 30 days, and looking at what your ex is doing and whatnot largely deviates from that point, don't you think? Discussed that here, too: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6PSfY1tjbBsnbs

Once you've already completed the full 30-day "no contact" rule and assuming you did it correctly, then the texting tips here will be a good starter: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqDRfqeCe9RjZpI but make sure you tick off the checklist here first: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHLLfqWjrJiGo9U This means you take time focusing on the second phase and eventually the third phase when the time is right. This won’t happen overnight, of course, but it’s something you ought to continue to work on to the point where you’re gradually building attraction again. This is what my guide is for. Have you checked it out yet? It's too complicated to explain everything on here, but here's an overview of these phases and what to expect in each one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5aqf4N4mdWhqas Good luck!

Is No Contact Rule mean No Calling and texting ?
@BradBrowning3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it means cutting off communication with your ex in any way, shape or form for at least 30 days. It also means ignoring unimportant or random messages from your ex for at least 30 days straight. This also involves NOT looking at any of your ex's online profiles so you won't overthink things. In other words, the "no contact" period is a time where you fully focus on yourself and take time to heal.

Hi Brad. My ex reached out to me after a month. We agreed to meet up. We had a fun evening at her place and we even felt that intense spark again between us. We didn’t go further than intimate cuddling, because she said it made things harder for us. She even mentioned she wishes it could work between us, but she knew it won’t. I left her house and I texted her that I hoped she was open for another meetup, because we shouldn’t ignore the spark between us. She declined. I don’t know what to do from here. Back into no contact or try to keep communicating?
@BradBrowning3 жыл бұрын
Don't skip a step or rush things because chances are she will back away like she did. Focus on texting and try not to meet up when you both aren't ready yet. The phase you're on is the second phase where you're rebuilding attraction (assuming you did the no contact rule correctly). It's part two of the 3-phase system in my guide but here's q quick overview to help you understand better: y2u.be/7JtmVbDkblw but as you go on this phase, you'll notice one or more signs here: y2u.be/nmRM3dZAzDA and the best you can do is to continue to play your cards right and move to the third phase when you're ready. @BradBrowning2 жыл бұрын
Really sorry to hear that. Being cheated on is truly one of the biggest heartaches you could ever experience, relating closely and coming second to grieving for the death of a loved one. There's no easy way to say this but the answer is is to move on, especially if your ex doesn't seem to be regretting their actions and/or making a solid effort to get back together after giving each other some time and space apart. While the situation is truly painful for you, it gives you the most growth as well so take that time to rediscover yourself and your own strength in getting through this. So really, my suggestion is to heal from this and be open to new possibilities. You ought to apply the tips here but it's really up to your ex to learn: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aoLIXmd3YqijjLs if you want to find out what your chances are, however, then feel free to take the free quiz on my website at www.breakupbrad.com/quiz Good luck!

Just try to make sure you maximize what you can within this 30-day period such as healing yourself, enjoying your own company, as well as spending time to see where it all went wrong, but only when you start to feel better, so be sure to take time to grieve first and feel the loss and cry all you want but then make an effort to pick yourself up first. Remember, you can't pick someone up (to be back in a relationship with you) if you're also feeling down yourself. Now is the time for self love. That kind of behaviour coming from your ex is somewhat expected after a breakup. That's why you ought to give it enough time where there's totally no contact between you and your ex for at least 30 days. A wide array of different emotions coming from an ex is somewhat expected when a breakup is still fresh and this includes the likelihood of your ex giving you mixed or weird signals. Watch this: y2u.be/siApAVtx8zE This is why I tell people to cut off contact for at least a month first and NOT deal with this ex. You both need to clear your minds first, all right? @BradBrowning2 жыл бұрын
Average time is 30 days but can go anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks in usual cases. If there's been some endless begging and/or refusing to cut off contact on your end, however, I usually suggest to give it more time, around 2 months or even more. Cheating instances are different if you've cheated, could be longer or shorter depending on how your ex reacts. Do take note that in some instances where the dumpee just couldn't take the hint and continually bugs their ex for months, there comes a time where the ex reaches a "breaking point" and confirms it's the right decision to break up and becomes hellbent in moving on from you. So the bottom line is the "no contact" rule is best applied when the breakup is still fresh. Discussed the importance of silence here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKiTdJurjah4o9k Also don't forget to watch my other vids so you'll know what to do after the "no contact" phase, especially if you're not getting my Ex Factor Guide. @BradBrowning3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, good call! Don't do it, man. She's lost attraction for you and it's a terrible idea to be friends with her. You need to cut off contact for at least 30 days first. Silence is key and here's why: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKiTdJurjah4o9k If you continue being friends right away, the boundaries won't be clear and you're technically both free to date other people. Wouldn't it be pure torture if your ex dates a rebound in front of you because you're only "friends" now, don't you think? So it’s not a good idea, especially if you want this ex back. Watch these two videos so you’ll know why being friends won’t lead you anywhere you wanna be with your ex and how to get out of this trap, respectively at kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqfClJ2wnbt-d7s and kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYSXh2d_hMiCndU but read my Ex Factor Guide since that’s much more detailed and so you'll know how to go about it, what to do after each phase (there are three phases in total), including what to say, do or not do, along with bonus materials for texting. If you have, then I'm glad you've completed it. There are two more phases to go with a few other steps in between (in the right order). What I'm trying to say here is it's a 3-phase process, and it's a bit complicated to explain it all on here, but I made an overview in the hopes of making people understand, so watch it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5aqf4N4mdWhqas or read my guide for the entire process. Good luck!

My ex and I dated for six months, we broke up almost a year ago. Somehow I ended up in a friends with benefit situation and now a year later I’m doing no contact. We used to be in contact constantly. Am I doing this right or should I not be doing no contact. What do I do
@BradBrowning3 жыл бұрын
Completely cut off contact for AT LEAST 30 days and no, don't settle for being just friends with benefits if you're looking for a commitment.

Hey brad , Me and my ex argued so much then we fixed everything every lil problem then she was treating me so FKN bad just because there was a plate on the sink even tho we bout to have dinner and I’d clean it right then started treating me like shit then I got a mate to say a true fact on the headset to her then she didn’t like what they said then raged and smashed my headset on the ground then I went to sit her down to stop her cuz this is a expensive headset right and when I went to do that I was meant to grab her shoulders and me right hand Slipped up her chest to near her neck and I pushed her down to sit down and she reckons I grabbed her by the neck And I apologised as soon as I did it cuz I knew that was an accident and she started kicking and hitting me when all I was doing was trying to stop her Then I moved out then we fixed it saying that it was an accident that i never do that again ever Then on the next weeks I wanted to go home just for one day and she said nope I’m done I’m over it and left me then started bringing up the neck thing again saying how she can never forgive me even tho it was an accident And I have done everything in my power to show her that it was an accident and this one isn’t my fault and that I have been doing no contact for about only 2 weeks or so but have seen her in public and she looked so depressed Idk what to do anymore !!!

@BradBrowning3 жыл бұрын
Like I said, try to do the opposite of the "no contact" rule and see if your ex is receptive to contact at this point. If your ex isn't, then it's very important to give it time to let whatever anger there is between you two, especially from your ex's side, subside. Sometimes it takes a month but oftentimes it takes longer or shorter depending on the situation. You simply cannot rush this. An apology is in order, too. These may help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5-oYmxom7p-rqs AND kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGGpaaRofq6aqqc

I cheated on my ex our healthy relationship turned into a toxic relationship because i was overly jelous and she's overly jelous too she was so mad at me and doesn't want me back in her life but when i see her post on social media she wants me back back when I'm messaging her she's telling me she doesn't want me anymore what can i do please i need help and also I'm doing the 30 day no contact rule It's already been 3 day's but it's already killing me i miss her so much
@BradBrowning3 жыл бұрын
The best thing to do right now is to admit to your ex that you've effed up and try to be patient and sympathetic with what your ex is going through and just disappear from your ex's life for a while, because right now, you are a constant reminder of the pain and your ex needs to heal from that first. And saying sorry is not gonna fix that right away, it takes time. By cheating, you're automatically putting the ball in your ex's court and have lost privilege to take your power back in all this. It's up to your ex now and how soon they can forgive you and move on from the incident, not necessarily from the relationship although some people do that. With that in mind, these may help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGGpaaRofq6aqqc AND kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5-oYmxom7p-rqs Whatever you do, make sure you avoid doing the stuff here that will only push your ex further away: y2u.be/jikW4YYC9yo

@BradBrowning3 жыл бұрын
Really sorry to hear that. Being cheated on is truly one of the biggest heartaches you could experience, relating closely and coming second to grieving for the dead. There's no easy way to say this but the answer is is to move on, especially if your ex doesn't seem to be regretting their actions and/or making a solid effort to get back together after giving each other some time and space apart. Most of the time, a lot of people would move on, but a few would still fight for the relationship, so this all depends which side you're on and what your views are. But take into consideration about what I’ve mentioned here, too: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2OahX-brrqgrck There is no right or wrong answer here because it is your relationship and it's personal to you. Make sense? Anyway men and women cheat for different reasons, but if you think your ex is worth it and if there's been a genuine connection between you two before the cheating happened, then try to see the roles that you BOTH played that led to all this mess and see once and for all if it can be resolved or not, okay? Really take your time before deciding though and be sure not to make any hasty decisions from an emotional place. Someone asked me the same question as you and here's what I told them, refer to the second question: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3fKlGh8bqiea7M Take care!

I hear you. Take a pause and take a breather. Do you have anxiety? It helps to really sit still for a while and focus on your breathing. Meditation may help. Just know that you're not going through this alone. Check the comments section! :-) Seriously though, be strong, all right? Heal first and focus on yourself.

Hey, i came here after watching ur video about the unavoidable no contact... Me and my gf we live together for almost 2 years now. 3 months ago problems between us started showing big time... and 3 days ago she decided that she needs time and space, so i we separated in 2 different rooms. We still live together, but she said something in our relationship is missing and she wants "space" right now... so i said ill give her the space she needs. Im not at home currently, im at my brother's for almost a week now, but i gotta go back there cuz im at work next week. I need a tip how to act up and what to do when i come back to her... the situation is pretty awkward... we've been together for almost 4 years now and went through so much things... and we live together as i said for almost 2 years now... give me some tips, cuz im in such a big depression right now... she also said she will probably give us a chance after some time, but if she doesnt feel okay with me still, the breakup will be permanent... she also asked me to avoid any contact with her while that time we need passes... thanks in advance, have a good one

I know it's tough, man. Trust me. If you still live with your ex, then do limited contact with your ex where you only discuss the essentials. Consider moving on from this, especially if it was just a fling to either you or your short-term ex. My program is all about regaining that lost attraction. However, there may not be anything to rebuild here if that's the case because there wasn't any long term bonding or attraction that naturally develops in long term relationships. On the brighter side, here's how the "no contact" rule will work for you, though: kzbin.info/www/bejne/apjUoGeIn9aIptE but to get over this and help improve your life and mindset, get my Beat the Breakup guide at www.beatmybreakup.com

@BradBrowning3 жыл бұрын
Assuming you've done the first phase properly, which is the 30-day "no contact" rule, then you should be in a position to be ready to test the waters with your ex. Here's how you can tell you're doing it correctly: y2u.be/f7zuXk-sVsI You may want to tick off the checklist here as well: y2u.be/BAhMrmw3Sms Now once you're positive you've done all that's mentioned, you can proceed to contact your ex. @BradBrowning3 жыл бұрын
Discussed about an ex's tendency to do that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eYGbd4Siq6mojLc But what sort of messages have you been sending your ex? It's a different story if you've been trying for so long with all the right moves and still stuck in the friendzone, but I don't think that's the case with you. Focus on the second and third phases instead. It helps to learn the basics here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5aqf4N4mdWhqas and/or better yet, read my guide to guide you every step of the way, at www.breakupbrad.com Good luck!

I really wish the no contact rule worked for me... I did it as soon as we broke up and I followed almost everything in your guide but after contacting him after the 30 days, he eventually stopped replying. I don't know what to do anymore and am so scared that he's losing feelings.
@BradBrowning3 жыл бұрын
You're on the right track, assuming you've done the first phase (30-day "no contact" rule) correctly and basically had set the stage for this second part. Be sure to check out my other videos for more tips on how to go about this, especially this: y2u.be/gUBNd6pDINM Since you've only recently reconnected, then don't expect your ex to warm up easily. Getting an ex back is a process. Here's a short infograph to guide you in each process: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bXvXnomYedCVotk Look out for the signs that your ex has moved on, though: y2u.be/TnZzeEIPEik But evaluate things, too. Are you sure you're not trying to rush it? Setting a deadline is a good way to fail when it comes to exes, so I highly discourage it. What steps have you taken to get your ex back? It's time to re-assess those and see what's working versus what's not working. Sometimes, getting an ex back is like trying to fit a square into a circle, but oftentimes, chances are you're letting emotion dictate you and therefore end up making the wrong choices. Have you checked out my guide yet? It’s ultimately up to you to act (or not act, depending on which phase you’re in) on getting your ex back, but it helps if you read it to ensure that you’re on the right track. Check it out at www.breakupbrad.com

What’s up Brad, I wanted to comment on your recent video for a better response I’m hoping.. so I broke up with my “ex” a month ago I missed her I know how much she meant to me right now we ain’t together she doesn’t wanna work it out but we still call each other babe, we still say I love you and I wanna work it out soo soo bad but she’s not giving in she’s not trying. She has a “rebound relationship “ right now. But still calls me babe and says I love you and when we see each other we are hugging and holding hands. I’m afraid to lose her and she said the same thing that she doesn’t wanna lose me.. FYI we also got a 6 year old son together.. I really really need some advice please 🙏🏽😔 I’m just confused 💙 I lost her and I’m trying my hardest I already begged and plead 💯💙💙💙
@BradBrowning3 жыл бұрын
Stop trying. A relationship takes two people to work and it can't work if she's trying to build a connection with someone else...unless you wanna be a doormat, which I highly discourage you to be. The new toy will always be shinier and your ex won't be attracted to you if you're the backup plan. Thus, wait for a better time before interacting with your ex, however, don't wait around doing nothing. Take a leap of faith on a new path as well because you never know where life can take you, which may be better without your ex. Use this time to heal and prioritize yourself. But if it's been more than a year or so, make sure to check the signs if your ex has moved on, here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKqtg6OerKmWl5Y This should help guide you on what to do for the time being: kzbin.info/www/bejne/np3MnIt_m7KMhJo However, make it a point to be really productive with your time being apart. Follow the tips here to help guide you further: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYalf5dspal8hK8 AND kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYepi4mne6l5jJY&ab_channel=BradBrowning now when the time comes where your ex is free or is constantly contacting you, check out my other videos here in KZbin to help you with a lot of texting tips as well as when to give up trying. Will an ex come back after they said "You deserve better."?
@BradBrowning3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it doesn't matter what they say. There's always a hidden meaning behind it. It could just be an excuse your ex uses so he/she feels better about breaking up with you, convincing themselves that it's the right choice. What I'm truly saying though is your ex is most likely lying about the reason of the breakup so try not to fall for that. Discussed that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKariHaNmqxkrtU However, the bottom line is your ex has significantly lost attraction. Watch what I’ve explained here and watch the entire length of the video to gain full understanding, as well as know what to do: y2u.be/E9wG_ErBQoI It’s important to rebuild the attraction naturally so your ex will be amenable to working things out, eventually.
