The Five Kinds of Text Messages Your Spouse is DYING to Hear…!

1.) The first kind of text message that you should send is the “thinking about you” text message. These are the kinds of messages that spouses in long term marriages don’t really send anymore… but they can have a huge impact in the way your significant other views you moving forward. Here are some examples of this kind of text…
“I know I don’t tell you this often enough, but I’m so grateful to have you in my life. Just thought of that today.”
Here’s another…
“I know you’re busy at work, but I just wanted to let you know that I’m thinking of you.”
Or how about...
“I can’t wait to see you beautiful face later!”
Or you can even do something as simple as…
“Hope that work project isn’t getting to you! I hope you’re having a good day.”
The great thing about texting something like this is that it takes 7 seconds to send but it can have a massive impact on your marriage immediately. Don’t believe me? Then give it a shot!
2.) The second text that you can send is the “Love” text… and this is especially targeted for married couples that really don’t say the “L” word enough to each other! So for example, you can say something like…
“I’m constantly reminded everyday why I fell in love with you. Thank you.”
Or how about something like…
“I’m so thankful that we fell in love with each other. I can’t imagine my life without you.”
Or how about something even simple like…
“Just wanted to say I love you.”
3.) The third text is an important one… and it’s what I like to call the “Attraction Text”. Over time, it’s normal for a marriage to lose its spark. Sometimes a well-timed intimate text can give your marriage an injection of sexual energy that it needs! Without getting into too much detail… you could say something like…
“Let’s make tonight all about you…”
Or…
“Let’s have some fun after work? Wink wink ;)” -- you can send a little winky emoticon after.
Or how about… “This morning was so much fun. When can I do that again to you?”
Clearly, the possibilities here are endless… so do yourself and really get descriptive for your spouse. You’ll be thankful you did… and so will your partner!
4.) The fourth kind of text is what I like to call the “Humour” text. Laughter is often described as the most powerful kind of aphrodisiac… and when you’ve been with someone for so long, often times we can forget this. I mean...remember when you were first dating and passionately in love? You would do what you could to make your spouse laugh and smile… and maybe you still do! But texting is one of the easiest ways to accomplish this goal… and one of the best ways to do this is to send your spouse funny pictures, memes, and animated GIF’s.
5.) The last kind of text might be the most important one… but only in the right situation. I called it the “Apology” text. Arguments and disagreements are inevitable in a marriage… but it’s how you HANDLE your conflicts that define how strong your bond will be moving forward. And one of the most difficult things to do during a conflict is to apologize to her spouse when you know you’re wrong. Now, usually apologies need to happen in person… but sometimes when it comes to small arguments, a simple text can do the trick!
You can say something as simple as, “I’m sorry…you were right last night”
Or… “I’m sorry about the night before… can I make it up to you later?”
Or how about a, “It was my fault we fought last night… I’ll always keep trying to make sure we have a solid understanding between you and I.”
Apologizing in a marriage can be one of the most difficult things to do… especially if you’re a prideful person. But it takes intellectual honesty and courage to admit that you’re wrong… and this is one of the most attractive and powerful things that you can do in marriage.

My husband is old school so instead of text messages I leave love notes in his lunch pail. Usually something simple like "be safe, have a good day" (his job is hazardous which is another reason I don't bother him- I don't wanna be a distraction and a reason he gets injured)

Hello Brad I need your advice please. My girlfriend and I got into it this past Monday. Now she wants to leave. I wrote her a message on Tuesday telling her that I know I've made mistakes and all of that. Basically backing off and accepting my mistakes. Give it enough time. A wide array of different emotions coming from an ex is somewhat expected when a breakup is still fresh and this includes the likelihood of your ex giving you mixed signals. Hi Brad! Actually I’m coming from your another video(will sleeping with your ex help win them back), I’ve been watching your videos one by one and i got a bit confused. If i say to him “I’m not going to sleep with you if you’re not my bf or not willing to be the one”, doesn’t it sound like i want the relationship back desperately? Which is the opposite to another video “when should you ask for commitment”(sorry I don’t remember the exact name) because that video said not to mention about commitment or relationship but make him think it’s his idea while being elusive. And could you give me more examples of how to reject sleeping with him? My ex and I broke up because of commitment problem (he didn’t want to be in relationship or put label while i wanted it and forced him, and it didn’t last long) and he is a person who loves freedom. I have a question Brad and hopefully you're able to help. My spouse and I are currently in a LDR. I recently found out that he had a 3 month long affair with someone else and that she is the one who ended it not him and that he begged her not to end it. Hey guys! I could really use some advice. A month ago, my boyfriend and I broke up. He moved after his residency and long distance was rough on us. I was trying to be really supportive with his new job, the move, and him taking his boards and would send super encouraging messages. However, I always felt like an afterthought. When I tried talking him about it, I told him I deserved better than the bare minimum. He told me I was right and broke up with me. During the breakup, he told me if I wasn’t happier in a month, we would get back together and we’ve mentioned it a couple of times since then. I started implementing the no contact rule about two weeks ago, but had a slip up last weekend when I drank too much (bad, I know). Here, I told him i was sad we couldn’t have more adventures together and that I was dating but that I didn’t want him to start dating until I chose who to get serious with (How ridiculous was I). He was so kind and told me he cared about me, we could have adventures as friends, and he wouldn’t start dating anyone until I was okay with it. He said right now he didn’t have any time to even think about dating. I replied that I couldn’t be his friend (thanks to Brad). The conversation was friendly. My time clock restarted on the no contact period... but Now, I’m at the 1st of the month where we agreed to get back together. I think I’ll look super desperate if I reach other especially since he hasn’t tried to talk with me since last drunken weekend. Should I bring it up? Should I continue no contact? Or even should I just make my peace with the breakup? I’m doing a ton better and investing more time into myself thanks to Brad’s videos! Coach I got my ex back with the no contact!!! And during the fight i begged and pleaded so hard and i feel like she will alwqys remember and will know that she can do the same to me again if she wanted. However, there is still lots of tension and trust issues and i dont know how to build that trust and get rid of any nervous tension between us. Sorry to hear. Well, keep in mind that the new guy isn’t you and if your relationship had been particularly good for the most part, then you can use that knowledge to your advantage. Your ex is likely rebounding, especially if yours had been a long-term or serious relationship. Can you help? I dated this girl for about 3 months, thought she was perfect, everything was going amazingly until about 2 months in she told me she was unsure about her feelings and that there was someone else in the picture. After this I ended things and halted conversation, she got in contact about 2 days later telling me how much she missed me. I offered to meet up with her and we did, we spent the weekend together but she seemed very off with me. I brought this up via text after she left, expecting her to want to talk about things. I suggest to try texting first. A call can be overwhelming especially if you don't really know the steps to take, what to say and not to say, etc. Since you've already completed the full 30-day "no contact" rule and assuming you did it correctly, then the texting tips here will be a good starter: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3_CiXSdfc-UfK8 This means you take time focusing on the second phase and eventually the third phase when the time is right. This won’t happen overnight, of course, but it’s something you ought to continue to work on to the point where you’re gradually building attraction again. This is what my guide is for. Hi Brad ! Badly need your response what to do n what not to. I'm sorry that I'm commenting here but it was so important. I was in a relationship with a guy. He had had breakup a year ago . After 2 months of our relationship ,his ex came to know about us and started texting him. Somewhere he got a bit inclined and started telling he hasn't completely moved on. Let me tell you, before his ex came into the scene, he believed I was the world for him. And his ex isn't a worth one. She was even in a relationship after breaking up but never told anyone and she cheated that guy too. Moreover she did a lot of melodrama as well. In this case, she is the one who's cheating everyone with her crocodile tears and my ex is too dumb to understand. Yet he regrets that he's doing bad with me. I asked him that if you can't talk to me nicely, block me out everywhere. And he disagreed saying I need everyone to leave me alone please. But after lot of poking, he blocked me. His ex is threatening me that she'll come into a relationship with him no matter what. And I don't want this to happen. I don't know what to do right now. I have had done all the beggings and pleading things .

Whatever he has told you before, it's come to nothing now. Take a look at his actions since it always speak louder than words. If he's back with his ex or even considering it, then I really hate to say this but let him finish whatever unfinished business she has with this ex. Sorry, but there's not much you can do at this point, especially if your relationship only lasted a short while and more so if he's seemingly (subconsciously or not) used you as a rebound, for your ex to jump back too quickly with her. It's best to give it time because all this arguing had taken a toll in the relationship. Perhaps you've both argued more than you had a good time with each other? If the negatives outweigh the positives in the relationship, that's when an imbalance happens and the relationship will keel over wherein one or both people will likely abandon ship,as the case with your ex. It's time to reset things. Start with the 30-day "no contact" rule to get your ex into a psychological neutral. Also the distance is another factor as it does tend to take its toll sooner or later.

Hi brad i have a question. So I broke with my ex month ago and I completly ignored no contact rule which ended horribly because she stopped responding to my messages. So i went no contact last week except Snapchat where i send her just one snap daily just to keep up the streak. Don't chase her. That will only annoy her more. It's best to give it time because all this arguing had taken a toll in the relationship. Perhaps you've both argued more than you had a good time with each other? If the negatives outweigh the positives in the relationship, that's when an imbalance happens and the relationship will keel over wherein one or both people will likely abandon ship,as the case with your ex. Don't be her security blanket, chances are this girl can't stand to be alone and would get into relationships just because she doesn't wanna be lonely - -which is a red flag. But why'd you two break up in the first place? It may be time to put things into perspective because in over a decade spent as a relationship coach, I find that a breakup is often NOT just one person's fault, so look at the roles that you've BOTH played that led to the breakup and if the issues have a chance to get resolved, and how to go about it. In most cases, the problems that led to the breakup can be resolved, but in some cases, it can't. So take time to evaluate, okay? Good luck!
