I hope with this signing we still keep Platt on a new contract as I don't see Byrne as an upgade on MP...Great to add more depth to the squad but that's all he will be imo...a good solid squad member who will deputise for others when needed and ensure there's no massive drop off if a 1st team starter is injured or suspended... One of our biggest signings this season will be re signing Platt on a new longer term contract and GA must ensure that that happens asap...If Platt does go on a free then we've really missed a trick to improve our squad whilst keeping our consistent performers like Platt...Fingers crossed he signs a new contract very very soon...🤞🏻🤞🏻 Let's hope going forward now more quality is added to the squad and personally I'd be happy to see Croasdale and or Collar come in soon with a few others going forward...Exciting times at City atm with potential signings lined up but I just hope we get the proven quality in and hit the ground running when the new league campaign starts...UPTFC 🐔🐓😍 Another great video Korban buddy and keep em coming pal...💪🏻👌🏻🐔🐓⚽️😍👏🏻

I think me might have signed Gareth Whalley and Ashley Westwood back to back from Crewe in 98 the season we got promoted to the Premier League. There was the Boulding Brothers from Mansfield in 2008 but they came as a pair

Better than Platt? Played 48 games in 3 years? Sorry on paper it's a downgrade imo if Platt goes. My question is with so little games in 3 years how has Gent even seen him? Considering Gent wasn't even in place in part of this time? What's going on?

We even payed a fee? Just give that money to Platt as he's more proven....a Stockport back up....and we payed for it.....poor appearances....on paper its another poor signing by Gent
