Another great review Ozzie & I appreciate the new camera & audio equipment. A quality production. I almost choked on my nachos when I saw the cutting of the blue tubing. It looked alot like optic fibre cable that gets direct buried. It gets picked up by optic fibre locators but I think you farmers call them "post hole diggers". :)

Depends on what kind of blade you like, for my taste it looks like would be too robust/thick of a blade but hopefully Mr Aussie responds.

You can get them in a full flat grind mate which would suit cleaning Deer better than a sabre grind.

Every knife pretty much performs the same but the difference between cheap knives and high end knives is the quality of the steel and how it retains its edge. Cheap knives will cut, sure they will but how they retain their edge and the quality of the steel is two very important things to consider when I buy a knife...

The mora will perform the same up until the point in which the edge begins to fail. according to the tests pete at cedrics and aidas out doors does, m390 will hold its edge for about 8x that of 1095, dependent on variables such as edge angle and grind. I have a lion steel m4 in m390 and i find real value in being able go camping for days at a time and not need to sharpen my knife in the field.
