Another song Zeppling ripped off and changed the name !! "You Need Love" is a song with lyrics written by American blues musician Willie Dixon. The instrumentation was first recorded by slide guitarist Earl Hooker with backing musicians. Chicago blues artist Muddy Waters later overdubbed vocals and Chess Records released it as a single in 1962. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pn6bkHurhpWVaZY

If those 4 guys had been born in 1910, they would have revolutionized jazz and swing. Had they been born in 1965, they would have turned the '80's and '90's upside down. “Back Door Man” is an old Blues term that refers to a person who slips out the back door as his side-girl’s husband opens the front door. Zeppelin was very rooted in blues music dating back to the early 1900s. Zeppelin was one of many white bands to play and expose many of the great blues artists during the 60s & 70s. This helped to restart the careers of the many blues artists of the time who were all but forgotten and therefore struggling just to get by.

Bonham was a badass rock and blues drummer but, technically, he's not even close to the best ever. And neither is Neil Peart or Danny Carey or Ringo or Keith Moon. Trust me... Just because those dudes were in popular bands, that doesn't automatically elevate their skill levels. There are Fusion Jazz and Speed Metal drummers out there who literally laugh at the chops of conventional rock drummers. The key to Bonham's reputation was playing great on great tracks. Period.

"Whole Lotta Love" was released in 1969. Like so many other British Rock bands, Zeppelin were obsessed with American Blues. They had an unapologetically sexual vibe. Great band. And a great reaction. Your KZbin channel rules.

Nice! One of my fav Zep songs. They are from the 70s. Every song is different so you may not love it all but it's all good for real. They were geniuses. Singer is Robert Plant. He has had an amazing solo career and has made an album out now or recently with bluegrass artist Alison Krauss Togo with their collab about 10 years ago. Magical together! Jimmy Page on guitar is a real pioneer of the instrument too. He played part of this with a violin bow. He was in a group called the firm with bad companys singer and did some stuff with whitesnake singer Dave Coverdale...and sat in with black crowes. John Paul Jones on the bass is excellent too and was in a group called them crooked vultures. The drummer John Bonham was legendary. He died causing the breakup of the band but his son Jason also drums and has sat in for some reunion stuff and...had a band in the 90s? called Bonham and they were very Zeppelin influenced. Um yes the song is pretty dirty dirty! In blues terms backdoor man is...when the husband comes in the front door the boyfriend sneaks out the back door. I guess there are other ways of interpreting that but I think that's what the boys meant.

I love watching these reaction videos. I watch them a lot while I'm at work because I am alone there, and music is always more enjoyable when it is shared. Especially when it is someone hearing it for the first time. Another Zep song you may enjoy is "Bring it on Home". You can hear how, growing up, American blues was EVERYTHING to these guys. And to hear just how amazing the most m"unsung" member of the band, John Paul Jones is, try "The Lemon Song" and listen to the awe inspiring bass line he lays down. I've also watched your reactions to Stevie Ray Vaughn. And while Stevie was one kick-ass guitarist, his chops were wider and deeper than most people realize. Try Stevie's "Riviera Paradise". Lex may have another "Moonlight Sonata" moment. (Yes, Lex. I know exactly what you meant by that. I also had that reaction to Rachmaninov's piano concertos.)

When half of the chat was screaming for "Old Man" by Neil Young....I had a couple dozen suggestions like this in my back pocket for Classic Rock suggestions. Old Man is a great song, but there isnt really a "wow factor" that you need for a good reaction video. Led Zeppelin has plenty of songs that either have the lyrics for Brad, the guitar/solo for Lex, or both.
