Hi all, i find you sympathetic, it's cool bringing back this music. It is heritage for all of us. The singing is outstanding, he is in a different moud and his voice sounds scarry and he acts like an instrument among the others, that should bring the music into the desired effect, he uses his voice like in a a classical orchestra serving the music, not leading the melody. Than John Bonham lanches the epic jimmi page solo, and they all go crazy, like if you're on a train, and all musicians are running at 300 miles per hour. I like the communication between the bluesy tempo of page and the animosity of john bonham and plant and the atmosphere of john pole jones. There are many versions of this. It's been ten years at least i didn't listen to led zep but when i hear dazed and confused, i hear the ultimate hard rock piece of music. No other band did the same since dazed and confused, it is perfection. In the live concert part (25 minutes), jimmi page's palette of sounds is unique. He literally created 90% of hard rock guitar music (you can even hear sounds influencing people like jeff buckley for instance, that's insane. nb : with all respect, stop comparing Nirvana to groups like LEd Zepplin, pink floyd or dire strainghts. Nirvana are fun, good but they are average musicians. If you are really stuck into grunge music, alice in chains are far better second nb : let's not forget and salute all the bluesman wgho influenced many rock bands and some rock music is is based on old and forgotten blues music. (same for the rolling stones etc) Led Zepplin created their own music and they brought to hard rock blues music like few. (led zep took music from blues but from folk too and celtic/germanic mythologie).

One of my favorite Zep songs. I remember the hazy days with Zep or PF playing. This song was always one I looked forward to.

The more I see Lex react to guitar-based music (note the intentional lack of specific genre 😉) the more I think she'd make a great musician herself. She really understand the feel of the music! Pick up an instrument, practice and master the basics and anyone can be good, but feel is what will take you to the next level 😎

Lex gets it once again...And I wish they'd just let the lyrics flow by and ENJOY THE MUSIC. It's not poetry.

@David McKenzie. Quite. How about Brad does his own literature based reaction channel and leave the music to Lex?

Personally i care first about music, the sound, the melody, the vocals, then i figure out what the lyrics is about, that’s my attitude to music in general! I don’t care much about lyrics, just for the sake if knowing. But sometimes the lyrics are very honest, courageous, rebel, and relatable, but this is rarely happens to me to care about lyrics that much!!

Love Lex reaction. Led Zeppelin inspired by blues. Its hard rock fast paced blues.

Great reaction, as usual. Yes Brad, Lex is right to follow the vibe (and be right 99% of the time!), rather than over-focus on the meaning of the lyrics only a minute into a song. We never did that~ Back in the day, we focused on the vibe, and sometimes (not always!) eventually figured out what the lyrics might mean... And Lex: a principal theme in blues music going back a century or more -- the negative side of relationships. So, the "Evil Ways" of Santana, and the revelation that "...the soul of a woman is created below." of this Zepp song is merely following a rich tradition. Listen to Billie Holiday to see that it goes both ways, with her bemoaning her "man"!

Yep, that's how you listen on the radio. You don't read the lyrics :)

It does kind of sadden me, that he doesn't get into it like she does.. I feel he just doesn't want to... I think it's just because the music he grew up with... Music was written a certain way... And it was about the way they made their every day feelings be out out into direct format.. just plain... It wasnt that way back then..

I love that with Lex.... The "messy" solo was so spot on. It always catches me too, and I have been listening to them for decades.

This song has one of my favorite guitar solos. Jimmy Page played it so well. This is the song that Jimmy played with a bow along with a pick. He just sounds confused on which way to go, which fits the song perfectly.

Brad looks at Lex like she’s nuts. He is right though, she gets the music right away. She feels the emotion in the music. I don’t know how Brad isn’t move by this stuff.

@@Lona_Chess Brad seems that he's way over his head in most reactions (he overanalyzes instead of letting the music reaches his soul)....Lex on the other hand is tuned in and listening with her soul and gets it.

Both of y'all are awesome but her reactions and how she really gets into a song is incredible. She 'feels' the music and that's a rare thing nowadays. Keep up the great work, love it all. Two people I wanna just sit down with and explore music together.
