Great video ! Just moved back to NC after 28 years in NH....loved dry fly fishing for wild trout in the White Mountains can’t wait to do it in the Smokies or Blue Ridge Mountains ! I have an Orivs Superfine 4 weight fiberglass that is my go to rod for this type of fishing...

Beautiful steam. I was in that area last week , had to turn round and go back home to Ky.next morning . Didn't loose out on much tho, the water was raging in Gatlinburg and Pidgeon Creek. Was with the wife, and if she is into fly all is well, if not, forget about it.

Nice video! Happy with the Butterstick? Do you usually fish fiberglass or only with dries?

I have been very pleased with the Butterstick. Up until I built a new rod recently, the butterstick was used for 90% of my fishing. It easily saw 100+ days of fishing a year for the last 3 years. Its fantastic. As far as types of fishing goes, I used the rod for many methods. I used wets, nymphs, small streamers, but where it really shines is with dry fly fishing.

Hey man, I'm heading up next weekend. Any native brookies up there?
@TheDEEZY4 жыл бұрын
If you hike back country 3 or 4 miles you will see them. It's almost all brookies after 6 miles on that trail.

No worries. The name of the creek is in the title. Tight lines!
