@@sethhansen4454 A 13th note is a single hit out of a 13-tuplet spanning a full measure of 4/4. So just sliiiiiightly faster than triplets and probably not a thing any actual human would bother trying to play with any accuracy, but 17/13 is technically a perfectly legitimate time signature.

Images and Words is an excellent starting point in my opinion. If you're more of a prog rock guy maybe you could check out epics like The Count of Tuscany or Octavarium, they have very clever references to Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, Rush, Pink Floyd, so maybe that could help you become accustomed to DT's sound.
