Richard Pryor is the funniest human to ever have walked the planet. Started watching and listening to him in the early 70s had all his albums.

Two Comedians have me bust out laughing until tears come out of my eyes, Richard Pryor and Katt Williams. They are the only two comedians that do it for me. Oh, and George Carlin was my favorite of all time. His play on words was genius!

I am crowding the hell ot of 50 years old. I grew up on the edge of a Southern Rural Black Community. I met and knew Black people born before the year 1900. And I can say they talked like this and were some of the greatest influences of my life this skit brings back so many fond memories for me. You will never know how much it has meant to me to see ya'lls reaction to what I consider to be the fondest memories of my early childhood. Thank You.

The man in the audience who “looks familiar” is not Carl Weathers (Apollo Creed) but Willie Tyler-a famous ventriloquist from the 70’s, who often opened for many comedian; including Richard Pryor. Willie Tyler performed with his “dummy” Lester as “Willie & Lester”. He and Pryor were close friends. You may wanna find some of his stuff on KZbin. I wouldn’t be surprised if Willie & Lester performed at this event, along with Pryor.

Awesome reaction once again, loved it! ❤ Richard Pryor is up there with George Carlin for me, the two greatest stand ups ever. I must have been about 13 when I first saw a VHS tape of one of his legendary performances, and even back then, it was a revelation to me. You 2 cracking up to great comedy is always a joy, makes watching the timeless stuff even more fun. :)

Nive reaction! The original Mudbone is the best. Haven't been able to find a reaction to that. I had it on a cassette at one time some years ago. The whole album was hillarious!

5:26 Carl Weathers? Perhaps most famous for playing Apollo Creed in Stallone's Rocky films and appearing alongside Arnie in Predator. This was filmed and/or released 1 yr after Rocky was released.

Oh, he has MANY Mudbone stories. HE was a recurring character he did. If you get a chance, do his comedy album "CRAPS". There's no video that I know of, but it is hilarious! I think it is also the foundation for the movie he did with Eddie Murphy called "Harlem Nights"..

The character called Mudbone was a old gentleman somewhere in his early 80's from Tupelo Mississippi. I think the part of Ms Rudolph kinda threw you off. She is what they called a Root Worker (a form of a witch). Mudbone friend had gotten mixed up with a woman the put a voodoo spell on him that made him turn out the way Mudbone explained it to us and the only way to get rid of a Root Worker spell is to have them removed it or go to another Root Worker to remove it ( hints ) Ms. Rudolph. It was well known of people from the deep south like SC, La and people from Haiti that if someone wronged you or someone you did like, go to these places a get certain items and do certain rituals and put spells on people. That is what the second part of his skit was about. Those where the type of going ons he had to deal with to help his friend.

I think it's in the movie "The Meaning of Life", from 1983, that there is a post-credit "scene" (IIRC), where it's just a blank screen and John Cleese's voice saying "And now we will show you a picture of an erect penis, just to annoy the censors." They never show the picture, I presume because the censors took it out. And even if they didn't need to, because it was never there, it's still funny. 🙂 Progressives nowadays are just as backwards as conservatives were back then.
