idk t18 usually makes hair ashy when the hair is actually level 10 blonde and her hair, being like level 8 orange, turned into a strawberry blonde, which makes perfect sense. Brad keeps saying "t18 won't do ANYTHING" but that's obviously been false in every video of someone using it, it just doesn't do AS MUCH as it's supposed to leaving you with still slightly orange toned blonde
@RavenLovesArt2 жыл бұрын
Not to mention she had olaplex so she probably used that a few times before filming the "final result"
@sabinajoh2 жыл бұрын
Because she had hot roots I think she didn’t go to the salon because I would get a panic attack if I let my client walk out from a color with hot roots. I feel like her hair should’ve been more red or something, like warmer? Idk t18 I’ve never seen them in salon or in store so not sure what actual pigments are in there, but if the pigment is a cooler violet you’d think her hair’d be more orange than it is, but hey sometimes hair just chooses to suck everything up and puck up more pigment which can be a blessing and a curse and I’m tired so my colortheory is probably all wrong
@sngray112 жыл бұрын
I am convinced that the first girl went to a professional to have her mishaps corrected, because T18 wouldn’t give her those results. Why do some people choose clout over integrity? 🤔
@queenkoi2 жыл бұрын
For views I'd imagine. Most of what you see on social media isn't really "real". The reason this particular issue bothers me is color correction is so hard for a stylist, it takes so much effort and time, if someone helped her out it would be good to share that.

I know so many already commented on the first girl having gone to a salon to get it fixed, I absolutely believe that she did, and I feel like I have to say it: DON'T BE EMBARRASSED ABOUT GETTING PROFESSIONAL HELP. If you did go to a salon to get things like this fixed but then pretend that you did it yourself, people are going to mimic you and think that it'll be fine because they believe that they'll get the same result. There's nothing shameful about going to get it professionally fixed. If she didn't get it fixed professionally, then she didn't and I'm not going to judge and say that I know the truth, it's just an observation.
@rachaelstaes3500 Жыл бұрын
I agree to not be ashamed, good point. But I don't think it was professionally done in this case. It's not done well at all. I'd be pissed if I went to the salon for that. There's hot roots, it's still orange and uneven. The T18 will help tone a little, plus makeup and curls can help a lot, not to mention she's in different lighting than when she did it. I did the same process starting from basically the same color and used same toner and mine turned out even better than hers. I know some ppl fake it, which isn't cool, but from my experience I don't think so here, but who knows ppl can be deceiving.

What really damages the hair is not the actual bleach ( well a little bit but…) , the hair gots real damage when its lightened at least three levels or more. Until those three levels if its natural you probably wont see damage, specially if you still got orange, because while you have orange hair means you still have the proteins associated with the orange (red pigments actually) pigments in the hair, and the proteins associated to the yellow pigments in the hair also. When it becomes all yellowish it only has the keratin associated to the yellow pigments so it has lost a lotsss of protein at this stage, and oils. ( pigments are connected to protein and to take them out of the hair with bleach you’ ll take out the proteins connected to each pigment cell also)

The baking soda and soap method works well for me with no damage. It just takes a long time and warm water to wash it all out. I use a deep conditioner and do an oil treatment the next day and it restores the moisture for me. I have very curly coily hair and it’s also very dark but I bleach to platinum.

People are saying the first girl went to the salon because how good her hair looks. You can still see a LOT of spots and the discoloration from her roots to the top mid section. Also, the reason that it looks so good on her is because it's so close to her natural color.

After having watched dozens of people using T18 on ginger hair, I’m 100% sure that first girl went to a salon where they actually applied enough lightener so that most of the ginger lifted out, and toned it to a soft reddish blonde. No way T18 on its own did that.
@iaminconstantpain95242 жыл бұрын
I'm so confused by the first girl saying warm hair tones don't go with cool/pink toned skin. I have natural red/orange hair and cool toned skin. And 90% of the redheaded people I know also have cool toned skin. Like girl 😭 are you saying our natural hair doesn't go with our skin color??

When you have naturally dark hair it is so hard to be blonde. It fades within days and the dark roots look like a skunk plus it’s so damaging to go from dark to light. I always thought it was easy for blondes to dye their hair because the light roots make the Re growth less noticeable and the color always comes out the way you want because you already have a light base. I didn’t realize that you blondes have the same issues just reversed lol. I gave up on blonde a long time ago. I’m going for a medium to dark red color next.
@silverdyne2 жыл бұрын
i'm a natural blond and i had black hair for years, wasn't too high maintenance at all for me. i just touched up my roots often, which for me wasn't any more work than just... shampooing and conditioning it. i think touching up dark roots back to blonde is a lot more difficult than blonde roots back to dark, because you don't have to worry as much about being perfect and avoiding any of the other hair.
