I love Emma getting so excited about taking home purple shampoo and Brad is shocked she doesn’t have it yet. It’s so wholesome and adorable! You can tell Brad really tries to take care of his employees and wants them to be happy! He’s totally shocked that she didn’t know she could take home product. That entire interaction was so freaking adorable! I’m low key disappointed I didn’t get a chance to try Brad purple shampoo when I had blonde hair. I’m naturally a platinum blonde so I have used about every purple shampoo out there. A few months ago I chopped off my hair and dyed it royal blue. If I ever go back to my natural blonde I will definitely be trying out his line!

Purple shampoo should be used once a month imo. It’s very drying for your hair and it only works on toning yellow out of your hair. A lot of people try to tone brassy orange tones down but purple will not do that. If you want something that tones your hair I always recommend a L’Oréal po1 toner to be used with a 3% developer to tone and if it you want to lift 2 shades then 6% developer. The po1 leaves your hair shiny toned and silky. I use it in between visits from my stylist to keep my hair fresh.

Be careful with Overtone. It's expensive for what it is, and while I had great results with the orange and ginger overtone, I didn't have a good result with the espresso brown. I think the formula can be hit and miss, and there are weird things going around the internet/social media apps about what's actually in their formulas (as far as what the pigment actually is). And this is coming from someone who used to LOVE overtone and never had a bad result with it, even when getting my hair done at the salon (which some people have reported having issues at the salon with their hair because of the lingering overtone in their hair).

I use one called Dark Envy I got from ulta!! It is a super super dark green color to cancel the red - it is mainly for keeping hair super dark but you can check it out!
