I feel like the first girl was NEVER going to be happy with her hair colour even if the salon had achieved the shade she wanted. Girl was told to wait a few weeks because it was compromised and then proceeded to darken it before finally succumbing to the home bleach job. She was never going to keep the salon colour. The impatience shows.

Probqbly why NO ONE wanted to do her hair she probably walked in crazy asf in the consultation. No thank you
@themayorreturns86864 жыл бұрын
@@katquiroga Agreed. Switching so dramatically from a salon to a home DIY treatment because she suddenly thought that she knew better than trained professionals leads me to believe that there is a salon or two in her area that will no longer take her. Especially after whatever that dark colour on her head was about. I wouldn't be surprised if she'd walked into the same salon that told her to wait a few weeks and told them she wanted the dark dye out of her hair. The impatience is what absolutely blows my mind here. Smh

The first girl, I’m confused why she waited the full 4 weeks then did it at home anyway? Had she just gone back to her stylist all of that could have been avoided lol
@itisjessie9864 жыл бұрын
because the first girl’s hair was already done. it was toned to its max, so you have to wait a certain amount of time depending on the color or hair type or both
@tattoosbysaoirsewells52044 жыл бұрын
itisjessie Yes I know. But in the video she said the hairdresser said she could go back in 4 weeks. She waited the 4 weeks to not touch her hair but did it at home anyway, that’s why I’m confused.
@tattoosbysaoirsewells52044 жыл бұрын
itisjessie Also, “toned to the max” isn’t a thing because toner easily washes out with clarifying shampoo and could have been washed out at any point.
@dylancastellanos874 жыл бұрын
I was wondering the same thing. She literally just had to go back to the professionals after four weeks and get her hair bleached. Instead, she not only decided to bleach it herself at home, she refused to listen to her boyfriend when he told her to stop. Then she blamed him when her hair started to fall out.
@tattoosbysaoirsewells52044 жыл бұрын
Dylan Castellanos Also she dyed it dark purple at one point?? I don’t know why people think dark purple is going to fade into an icey blonde lol. Her hair was already bleached so light by the first professional, all she needed to do was wash out that toner and return in 4 weeks and she would have been the perfect platinum blonde. I wish clients who want to be platinum would just trust their stylist and commit to multiple sessions instead of pulling this crap lol

I have black hair and I’ve always thought that blonde hair, especially a really light blonde, was so pretty. If I tried to bleach my hair, it’d either get stuck at the orange stage or completely fall out from the amount of lifting I’d have to do.
@shirin94523 жыл бұрын
@@heystobit7102 I have black hair naturally and depending on the strength and health of your hair, you should be able to do it if you really want it. It’s all about being able to afford it and finding someone who really knows what they’re doing. Don’t think you could never go blonde! Do make sure you know what’ll look good with your skintone though :)

He isn’t lying about the darker color on top and lighter on the ends. I just did that to my hair to blend the roots and it worked beautifully. Used that comb down method he talked about in another video so it blended. 👍🏼

It never ceases to amaze me when a client repeatedly comes in begging for someone to do a color correction. Like, you’ve done this to yourself time and time again. Why have you not learned that you’ll end up spending 2-3x more trying to fix your attempt to save money. I mean, don’t get me wrong, that’s more money in my pocket, but it is hella frustrating that they won’t ever listen and learn. Say no to diy bleaching people!

I'm bleaching my head for about ten years now. Coloring it blue or maybe sometimes pink. the first two times I guess i did a pretty shitty Job. But I lived with that. People made fun of it, but I lived through that. It was kinda funny! I once bleached my hair in a salon. Never again, because my hair was soo dry&dead after this. And with that money I could pay two years of Bleach and colour. I have to say I have pretty short hair. And I don't think hair is such an important thing. I could easily shave everything off. What I did sometimes (undercut) i just want to say let people make own choices. But they should know that they have to live with it
@GoblinsAreAGirlsBestFriend4 жыл бұрын
To be perfectly honesty I've only been that client once but I'll be it again probably and I don't care 🤣 if I'm gonna spend $400 on my long hair changing colour I might as well start with $50 at home and see if I can pull it off... if I can, yay I saved $350, if I can't, a stylist gets a big tip that day. Everybody wins LOL.

Tbh I've NEVER found a good hairstyler, at least one that works well for me and I always always left the salon crying. I havent had any problems since I started cutting, bleaching and dying my hair myself, tho I also did a lot of reasearch and I have professional products at hand, which helps a lot! I prefer living with my own screw up than letting someone else touch my hair.
@magsguerra4 жыл бұрын
Saso Akasuna more power to you if you can do it yourself. It’s the ones that screw it up, come to have it fixed, then do the exact same thing over and over again that kill me. Had a lady years ago that came in at least once every 2 months to have someone fix her bleach fails to the point where none of the stylists at our salon would even touch her hair. She repeatedly melted her hair and it would literally turn to mush when you washed it. It was a never ending cycle and no matter how many times I told her, ‘You can’t keep 40vol bleach on your head for hours at a time. Stop it. You are going to melt your hair and scalp.’ She would just continue to do it then cry when we couldn’t fix the problem. Probably the most frustrating client I ever had!

I recently watched some of these videos on my mom's TV when I was staying with her. The other day she was telling me she started watching this "hairdresser on youtube who is just so positive and funny" and I immediately knew who it was. KZbin started recommending these videos to her after I watched them and she LOVES them now. It's so cute. I hope Brad knows he has such a wide demographic of audience, including 55 year old grandmothers in the rural south. 😂

People don’t want to pay to go to a professional salon bc they are expensive, but doesn’t the high expense signify how difficult it is to properly bleach hair? It is beyond me how many people bleach their own hair with no experience when it can take months to fix. Great for content though. Keep at it lol
@myahleanna6544 жыл бұрын
Some people spend atleast half the price buying products after they mess it up to try and fix it anyways
@myskin7774 жыл бұрын
No nessesary the hair salon will give you a great result. For gair bleaching need to be a lot if product , no any foil and after - ammonia free oil color. This is works perfect. A the salon my hair was daged many times by Wella ( German brands are very strong) or silver shampoo (I hate it , it makes my curly hair very bad). At the salon very often you have a nice color , but once you wash it it can be gone. After online coloristic class I perfectly know what is the best for my hair and which brands , and no one stylist made me so nice blond before . My hair is light slavic and it is HARD to get bright no damage blond ( only low decelopers !) and long 2-3 days process, when at salon it is always damage and always fast process( no one will bleach you 2-3 times with low volume). The best for me is INOA, nothing is better.
@dakota76514 жыл бұрын
I mean, there have been cases (even happened to my mom when I was like 13) where people have gone to get their hair professionally done at a well known salon and ended up getting their hair fried - my mom got her hair fried and ended up having to get 4in cut off, I forgot who it was but this girl basically had her hair melt off her head. Granted this isnt everyone's experience but just because something is more expensive doesn't mean its necessarily better. As long as you know what you're doing tbh theres no problem with it. Basically my point is you can have horrible results either way lol Editing to add I've been bleaching and dyeing my hair at home for a few years now, one of my friends is a hair stylist so I go to them for advice if I have questions. So far I've yet to fry/melt all of my hair off. My natural hair color is a level 3/4, its dense but fine, and kinky coily. I've tried getting my hair professionally lightened but every place has refused to lol I ended up having to dye my hair grey at home (overall the process took me 8 months - a year to acheive). I'm 21 now and started doing that when I was 17-18, I'm just now reaching the point where I'm close to being able to tone it to all a silvery white (I just need to lighten my roots 3 more levels and I'll be there), with minimal damage and hair loss.
@lisamo10134 жыл бұрын
If you spend some time looking at advice and tips from other people and have some practice applying color to your hair, then it's really not that difficult. Just start with the easier stuff and work your way up.
@mwoods46084 жыл бұрын
People don't go because they book for 3 months out and your hair never looks how you want anyways. You see her 1st visit to the salon she left with ginger hair and asked for blonde.

K, I know this is like 3 yrs old, but I’ve been thinking about posting this on a recent vid. Honestly, thank you so much Brad, for your commentary on these videos. A lot of the fail videos have resulted in great advice from you and have made me a better at-home hair bleacher and stylist. If you do end up reading this in 2023 when I’m typing it, know that we, your audience, absolutely adore you, and please don’t stop making these videos. They’re so much fun and they never get old! If they feel old to you, take a break, but still please come back. A lot of creators (podcasters, KZbinrs, etc) figure out what works, and then get tired of it and stop producing. It sucks because we’re all still so here for it. Anyway, love you. Never change ❤️
