You know theyre not wigs? They are hard plastic cap and there's a screw in there. Unless your head is REALLY small and has a huge hole for a screw you can't put them on.
@gkeller10314 жыл бұрын
@@Meike164 I didn't mean to insinuate that the hair he's doing these on are wigs, but I see how you got that from my comment. I just mean that he's showing us how to style our own hair by doing it on a mannequin, which would not help me at all because of how uncoordinated I am, so I think it would be fun if he put on a wig and then tried the techniques on himself with the wig on.

I've always had problems with holding curls with curling irons. But I once did foam rollers and the ringlets and waves stayed for two full days. What's important is that with heat what fixes the hair into position is not actually the heating part but the cool down. With rollers you gotta get your hair damp ans then dry to the point where its 80% dry and then you curl it. You leave it till it dries or over night covered with a turban, the drying is what sets the curls.

I went to college to be a teacher but never ended the school cause it wasn't for me...2 years earlier I started to watch your videos and thought " ok you know what, you have to work earn some money and go again to college" and here I am now waiting for september to start my roadtrip as a hairdresser. I learn SOOOOO much from you and I'm sure I'm going to be ready for everything. You are the best.

This is kinda random but isn’t it kinda ironic that a lot of curly/wavy haired people want straight hair and some people with straight hair wish they had curly or wavy hair. You are in control of your hair but always remember that your hair is beautiful the way it grows out of your head!

I think it is a mentality of "wanting what you don't have". I personally always loved curls and waves, because my hair is super straight and it will not hold a curl. Even with hairspray, so I had to come to terms with my straight, silky hair texture and honestly I love it now. Low maintenance works better for me.
@deboraht50794 жыл бұрын

i agree. i used to pay so much money on expensive treatments to make my hair flat and straight. then i travelled a bit and saw that beauty comes in more than one shape/size/hairstyle. so i embraced my wavy hair, and with right products it looks great. what is even funnier, now i need 15-20min to dry it and style it, i just put it in a loose bun with hair clip and its stays wavy for days

I cut my hair short recently and I LOVE it, but it does need more styling now and I don’t want to use heat on my hair every single day. Are there useful tricks to get waves/curls without heat? Which one did you find to work on your clients or friends who told you their experience? Would love to see a video about this ❤️🤩

After you take a shower try putting some loose braids in and keep them in until your hair completely dries. Or put a bunch of little ones for more dramatic small waves. ❤

Put your hair up in a high tight bun by twisting the hair. Or two buns for smaller curls. Do it when your hair is only slightly damp and sleep in it over night 🙃

I have short hair too (barely touches my shoulders) and am so jealous of all the medium length and long hair people who can do the braid and high bun method curls. I've found that blow drying my hair till its 75% dry and then letting it finish drying in self gripping curlers while I do my makeup is the easiest way for me to get a pretty curl. It's not totally heatless but you could let it air dry until its 75% dry instead of using a hair dryer.

A simple hack that worked for me was wrapping my hair around my tank top's straps! My hair was medium to long lenght and it stayed like this all night longè I had loose curls in the morning :)

When I was 11 I did my hair for a Christmas dinner at school and I did my hair. First I went in with the flat iron and straightened my curly frizzy hair that was 28 inches atm. After half and hour I was done with straightening alone. After that I went in with my curling iron and that took another hour. The bad thing was, while I was curling the one side, the other side collapsed and the damn curls weren’t even the same💀 so I had to go in another quick round on the side that collapsed. After the night on school my hair looked so f**king good. It was like kinda wavy but clean and I was obsessed. Unfortunately, it took me 2 and a half hours and I didn’t wanna go trough that again. Buuuuuuut a week ago I cut 10 inches of my hair and for me it’s pretty short. I might try it again, who knows🤷🏻♀️😌 Idk why I just wrote this. If your not interested just scroll and don’t come for me😙✌🏻 Bye kids

My hair won’t hold a curl either, it’s so slippery. I use a heat protectant lotion when I blow dry, then I use Rusk Working Spray for heat styling. I spray it all over before starting then I spray it on each strand before and after curling, and I let the curls set for 20 minutes before raking my fingers in my hair. Then one last spray of hairspray to finish it off. It lasts until my next wash day. Oh make sure you’re sleeping on a silk or satin pillowcase. The curls stay in longer with that.
@co.l87893 жыл бұрын
Try using a mousse in your hair before blow drying, then spray your hair with hair spray a little bit and brush it out. Then do your curls and hold each one in your hands a few seconds before letting them down and spray them with hairspray right after. Then only go through it with your fingers and after that spray with hairspray again😄 a lot of work and a lot of hairspray but that worked for me😄

Brad saying how he likes the combination curls thingy while me sitting here who has never used any styling iron and is looking to get one because I thought my natural waves/curls that I woke up to every morning is too tame and abstract is honestly making me not want to buy any styling iron and motivated me to keep my super healthy no-heat hair lifestyle instead and wow was that a mouthful :D

Hey I started watching a couple years ago and have been hooked ever since!! I finally got the courage at 39 to go back to school in cosmetology. I have picked up on things pretty well, but damn that marcel!!! I have been pretty fluent with styling tools and have been using the Curuso steam curl set since middle school (went through 4 or 5) , and I know how to use a flat iron and a regular curling iron....but learning the. Marcel took 3 smoke break and 2 buckets of tears (not so much crying but felt like it) . I finally got the concept of it but it's going to take some practice to get the hang of it!!

Tell me why i learn more from brad's page than my actual cosmetology program. Love ya brad 👌
