A lil tip: use ur eyes and lips as guidelines to get them even. Pull the piece until it covers ur eye and cut below ur bottom lip! Ofc this is just the length and layering i prefer so feel free to adjust however u want for example if u want them longer cut around your chin length

Brad, I was wondering if it's possible to make curtain bangs with a sidepart? If not, are there any alternatives? I love the look of curtain bangs, but I have a big side part and a middle part doesn't suit me very well. Any advise?

I tried it with a side part and didn’t like the look of it. So I decided to just give a middle parting a try although I always thought it doesn’t suit me at all and cut thick curtain bangs with a middle part and after a few days of getting used to the look of a middle part on my face I love it so much 😍

Tbh I find my curly hair easier to cut than if I were to have straught hair, cause ur errors wont be as noticeable, but also if ur cutting curly hair, all I suggest is knowing that u will get tons of shrinkage! And to cut accordingly, likeleave more length for bangs and such since it will shrink up

Advice! : (keep in mind i am not a hairdresser but my hairdresser told me this) if you are deciding/going to get curtain bangs keep in mind they are very beautiful but keep in mind the can just hang there and you have to be very consistent on styling. A alternative is like angled side bangs!

Why do you need a separate tutorial for that? He said in the video if you want it really thick, do more, if you want it thinner, do less. As in section off less hair into the triangle shape before you start cutting. The steps you follow afterwards would be exactly the same.

You part the hair down the middle, the part diagonally twice - one on the left side and another on the right side. Those diagonal parts are your guide for the angle you cut when you move the piece across your face and cut. You want to angle your scissors in the same direction as the line (aka part) that corresponds with the piece you’re cutting. Parallel lines are like lines on a street. They run in the same angle, but on different sides. In this case, the first side is on the scalp (at the part) and the second side is the ends of the hair you’re cutting. Make both angles parallel.
