One of the few honest slot channels out there. Most all of the other slot channels are bought and paid for by the casinos and skew their videos to show mainly wins. Vegas Matt doesn't do that - he shows tons of losses lol. The only slot channel I watch any more.

Was in a very similar situation as the vlog my last tournament. Villain raises to 5BB and I 3 bet shove for around 15bb with jiggities. He tank calls for a big chunk of his stack. If I can take control of the pot for a discount when I don't think my opponent is that strong, I'm usually going to do that because it gives me multiples ways to win - my opponent will either fold and give up some equity, he'll call but that signifies he's weak and I can bluff him on the river if I don't think my hand is best (a river bluff often wouldn't look as strong if I didn't bet turn first); if I think my hand is best, I can check back river or bet again for thin value, and most of the time betting the turn keeps me from having to face a potentially larger bet from the opponent on the river if he doesn't improve. Having control of the pot is great.

It is really tough to win when you dont make hands. I have been going through quite the rough patch. I keep fairly detailed notes, and I went through my last few dozen sessions and it was clear, when I wasn't making hands, I was a loser. When I made hands, I was a winner. I am not in the same solar systems as you skill wise, but I do like to see the general principle seems to bear out. You are always a font on valuable information. I doff my cap.
