@@robertlloydmusic despite only have a co-writer credit. Brad is very much involved in the writing of the song. Anytime he's not he doesn't give himself the credit like for Whiseky Lullaby or When I Get Where I'm Going. Both of which would have been easy to slap his name onto since he made slight adjustments to both songs but he doesn't credit himself unless he's heavily involved in writing the lyrics and/or music.

Was watching cspan and saw the guests coming in to the state dinner for the president of Kenya . Brad Paisley and his wife were introduced as they walked in. The president of Kenya likes county music so Brad was the entertainment . He said his first song would be "American Saturday night and then all bets are we'll see what happens". Had to Google the song. Great country song!!! it describes America to the tee!❤

When Brad originally released American Saturday Night… he put the line Live from New York, it’s Saturday Night! That’s when Boston’s Country 102.5.
