I’m a home inspector of 20 years. I always snicker when people say “it has good bones.” My best translation for that is “I know it has major warts but I want it so badly that I’m about to make a bad decision.” Lol. Thanks for a great tour and video Brad!

Brad. Another dream project. After fixing the roof I would tackle each room one yearly trip at a time and then retire 😄. Brad, Have you noticed how close you are to 100K? You guys are awesome! Thank you for what you do. 🙏 and Happy New Year!

I really appreciated the harpsichord music intro. Whenever I watch home tours in Italy, I always imagine where I’d put my harpsichord. Great property.

It’s a very handsome structure with a lot going in its favour. They have priced it very fairly which makes me think that the roof will have to replaced.

Quite possible. About €120-150.000+- for that if it is truly a full redo. Still leave you at 300,000…. Not bad. You never know. I’ve gotten some crazy deals over the years when things looked hopeless. Maybe this would be that. Just needs someone to rip off the bandage.

I'm glad you mentioned the "extra movement". I had to fast forward because it gives me severe motion sickness. And yes, Carrefour is a French company, and it was my favorite when I went grocery shopping living in Poland... 🙂

Thanks for the video and especially showing the supermarket but please take off whatever that is that makes your camera weave from side to side on this video. Grazie mille

Yeah I am trying to learn to use them better. It was also my editing. I need to cut out the part where I am looking both ways so I don't get mowed down by a driver crossing the street. It will get better. I also will use them judiciously. But I think that they will be indispensable when I'm trying to give people a natural view of what it's like walking through a grocery store, or a shopping area, or going into a restaurant. If I walk in caring a gimbal and a 4K camera everyone just stops and stares at me and I can't use the video number one because I don't wanna show everybody's faces, and number two it's just not natural. Hang in there and give me a couple weeks to get it figured out and I think you'll see the benefit of them. If I can't do better I will stop using it. Hate to have people not get their money's worth! 🤣

Yikes! Please slow down the turns and side glances of the camera! I got dizzy in the grocery store. This house could easily be fabulous. It's got what seem to be big rooms and lots of them.
@BradsWorldКүн бұрын
Yeah... Like I said in the video, sorry about that. I am working on the usage of my new video glasses. Part will be head movement and part will be better editing to cut out extreme movements. What I like about them is I am not holding a camera and everybody at the store isn't staring at me. This will be a much more natural immersion for my viewers of what it is really like to be there. Just give me a little time to get it figured out.

Hello - Just curious, why are we seeing pictures of property?
@BradsWorld4 сағат бұрын
Instead of a live walk through? Like to show more properties than my group of realtors might have. Lots of unique towns and villages I want to show, which I can easily access but getting into properties is very time consuming and I can’t talk freely about the property if I am on an invitation tour. I think the town tour is as important as the property tour. Properties come and go but towns and what they have to offer is the main educational thing. Where is maybe more important than what. Hopefully I understood your question…. If not I got no idea!

I remember a KZbin that spoke about some places that had lower income tax incentives for expats. Does this village fall into one of those areas?
@dcartier1692Күн бұрын
Initially, it was for the southern regiones - Abruzzo and below - in municipalities of 3000 or less. However the scheme is being expanded to some municipalities in Lazio, Umbria and Marche with up to 20k inhabitants. It is an attempt to bring economic benefit to less popular expat destinations. Toscana doesn’t fit that bill.
@BradsWorldКүн бұрын
No. Those villages are all down South of Rome (almost all, a very select few in Le Marche and Umbria). The idea is to get people to move where there is serious depopulation. That isn't an issue in the towns and for most of Tuscany, Umbria and the northern part of Italy.

I like the idea that you can give a look with your point of view glasses, but it will make my wife sick to watch. Really slow down when using them.
@BradsWorldКүн бұрын
Trying to learn to better use them. Part is editing too, I need to cut out the part where I am looking to cross the street (which in Italy I REALLY need to do! 🤣). Give me a few weeks, it is a new asset. But I think it will be really nice because if I whip out my gimbal and 4K camera at the super, everybody stares at me and makes the whole thing so unnatural. With these, nobody looks at me, and I don't have everybody's faces in the video. I can cruise through shops and towns looking in stores without losing the POV experience.

Ummm, not exactly a 150K home, but very nice. As a person with a budget of about that, I find this depressing, but that's just me : )
@BradsWorldКүн бұрын
You can find nice stuff at most price points here, so don't get depressed. This was a very nice big home in a very pleasant town with some services and 10 mins from all services. 25 mins to North Arezzo... I thought it was a screaming value compared to what I see in other areas. But that's just me too!

@@MsWarriordiva Thanks for your comment, it's just me, so I only need 800 - 1000 sq feet, but I would still like to live in a nice neighborhood. Any suggestions? I'd love to be in bike riding or walking distance to shops and not too far from a train. I also want to pinch myself, that I live there : )
@janetb306315 сағат бұрын
@@BradsWorld Thank you, I understand! It looked so tempting on the surface, but knowing a little about the construction biz, albeit not in Italy, I was mentally counting up the costs. Beautiful area, and I don't want to compromise on that - I only need 800-1000 square feet, it's for just me and enough room for the occasional guest.
