I really thought AB changed when he came to Tampa. Especially in that first season. I said oh great Tom Brady really helped him in the right direction. Any doubt people may have once had about the quality of person AB was or wasn’t ended after seeing the way he treated Tom at the end of things. Granted seeing AB positively after the incidents that occurred with the Steelers, Raiders and Pats was a huge stretch from any rational basis it’s genuinely not possible to argue that the dude doesn’t stink after witnessing how he did Tom. Tom vouched for the guy multiple times, largely saved what was left of a career for the dude, helped him earn a ring, and then add in how he went even further by welcoming the dude into his home and the like. Genuinely couldn’t have gone any further for a dude than he did for AB and even a guy who did all of that for him gets shit on by AB and even has said things about being taken advantage of by Tom and the like. It’s horrible to say but I almost hope he does have severe brain damage because it’s so hard accepting that this probably just happens to be who the dude is and it would be almost easier to be able to blame it on injury than accept that the dude just sucks this bad because it’s who he is and always was. Pretty sad to watch either way though. No chance he will learn until he runs out of money and even then it’ll probably be somebody else’s fault
