Now like you I have measured the play of both teams and Stafford is going to watch what a real rifle man looks like. Just bury Kuup. and the army of receivers for Cinni is going to be fun to watch. The only other time I can even think of was the 2015 Denver AFC title game @ Mile High where Brady had the hell beat out of him by Von Miller and Demarcus Ware all day long, and missed Gronk on the 2pt conversion... The difference between Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes (or Aaron Rodgers or any other quarterback for that matter) is that all the really great quarterbacks out there, including Mahomes, rely on athleticism a lot in their play, something that Brady doesn't do and can't do. Brady's game is strictly mental. That's why sometimes it takes Brady three quarters to completely figure out any defense and id any weakness they have. That's why he's so dangerous in the fourth quarter. By the fourth quarter, Brady completely owns ANY NFL Defense and he just does what he wants to do with them. The only other quarterback that I've ever seen that operates this way, other than Tom Brady, is the former GOAT, Joe Montana. This is a talent that all NFL Scouts should learn to recognize because, right now, they don't have a clue.
@TBDtribute2 жыл бұрын
I'd take Brady over any "athletic" quarterback
@telephonetlm2 жыл бұрын
@@TBDtribute - Of course you would. He's proven time and again that his "mental" approach to playing the position is, more often than not, going to beat the athletic quarterback. I would have loved to see Brady go up against one of the very greatest athletic quarterbacks, John Elway. That would have been far more entertaining than Brady vs Rodgers. Another dream game would have been Brady vs Favre, although I do think that Brady would have blown Favre completely out of the stadium.
@telephonetlm2 жыл бұрын
BTW, probably the toughest quarterback that Brady could have faced would have been Dan Marino. Although Marino wasn't what you'd call an "athletic" quarterback, if he had a decent receiver squad, he might have gotten so far ahead that Brady wouldn't have had time in the fourth quarter to save the day. Sometimes it's the match up between quarterbacks that really matters, and I believe that Marino matches up well against Brady, mainly because, even against a really great defense, if Marino had good receivers (let's say Duper & Clayton), he could score at will. Marino, at least in my opinion, would be the toughest quarterback Brady could ever face in a Dream Game. Dan the Man doesn't get near the credit he deserves as a quarterback. He may not have been very mobile, but he had a rocket arm and got rid of the ball in milliseconds. If he had been on a team where the Front Office was willing to spend the money and give him the tools that he needed, his legacy would be entirely different than it is today.

Watch how even Deon Sanders said it years ago about Brady still be able to play for another coach and Shannon Sharpe bluntly said no he couldn't. Now, Tom Brady went to play for Tampa Bay and Bruce Arians, what happened as a result? Wow, he won a 7th Superbowl. Please address this to Shannon Sharpe and see what he would say?

why is it so hard for people to remember. the first thing to go, is speed. then strength. then IQ. Tom has never a speed guy. IQ first then quick release. theres a reason why he has lasted this long. he has always lead with his football IQ first

Speaking of toughness and competitiveness - haven't seen or heard this mentioned yet in any TB12 tributes, but has any other quarterback ever stood back up and played on as many times after being knocked down or sacked as Brady? Probably not in this universe. Think about it.

For some haters, Brady could kick field goals and play defense, and they still wouldn't give him credit. There's no arguing with the facts. He has all the main Quarterback records and the most Super Bowl wins. He's the goat!

Something that doesn't get talked about enough is how Brady stopped 2 teams from going back-to-back in the SB lol. Brady is the last person to do it and is responsible for keeping that the case. Even if KC does it I'll still remember that they couldn't do it while Tom was there.
