Hey man, is this a T4 divided kit? What A/R housing did you go with on the 6870? and what rpm are you hitting full boost at?

Thank you for the compliment, views, and support! Braeden wanted this car to be able to run hard and aside from the spark plug mishap, it absolutely GOES! Sitting in the passengers seat was like 🤘🏻😟🤘🏻 stay tuned for more!!

New to the channel. Clean build. Do you know the back spacing and width of the Welds that you’re on? Any spacers or shaving needed on the wilwood setup?
@berttnotbought8043 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Appreciate it! The back spacing is 5.5” and the width is 8”! 15” diameter. When we set the car down on the ground and backed it out, the passenger rear was grazing the inside of the wheel. It didn’t touch when off the ground. So if you do this set up or similar. Check clearance before moving the car. Fronts seemed to clear just fine! No spacers needed. Possibly some shaving.

Also these are an STM kit. We can’t speak to how wilwoods would fit.

Do you not have a parking brake or does your staging brake have a lock on?
@berttnotbought8043 жыл бұрын
No parking brake right now. We are thinking about putting a line lock in the staging brake but so far first gear is doing the trick.

Brisks are solid no doubt. These are just what it was tuned on and until we talk to Nate or Jason at TPG about it we are going to stick with the NGK-R’s

@@berttnotbought804 Is the motor ok?
@berttnotbought8043 жыл бұрын
Yeah seems to be. We haven’t ripped on it yet. There will be a video on it. We replaced the plugs, checked and cleaned the injectors, borescoped it and compression tested it. So far it seems fine. It sat with these plugs in it while it was being built over the last year. That time covered in E98 is all we can attribute this too. 🤷🏻♂️ At this point we just run it and find out.

if im not mistaken, won't this car need a cage?
@berttnotbought8043 жыл бұрын
Oh you are 110% correct. Lol we are going to do a couple test hits this year with it to shake it down and at the same time determine what cert the cage needs built to.

Not everything can go perfectly every time. Sometimes stuff happens with big power… We are currently planning our method to determining where this issue originated and how to countermeasure it.

Borescope, leakdown, and compression tested, all good. Cleaned, checked and tested all 4 injectors, all within ID’s specs. Replaced spark plugs. Everything was healthy except the plugs. The engine was running on E98 for short durations as it was moved around the shop it was built in. The unburned E98 tore the plugs up and this one was the first to let go. We’ve run it since and it’s smooth and healthy again.

@@berttnotbought804 your blessed: I would definitely be checking the air fuel ratio in that cylinder... seams to be running lean. Hot temps cause the plug to burn away the electrode and result in breaking of the ceramic core. Look forward to more videos 👍
