You’re not wrong about the difference in feeling that you get with a first gen Legacy. They’re very solid and they feel like they’re built better than the generations that came after. I have a 91 sport sedan and a 94 touring wagon

Gotta love seeing older Subaru’s like this being well maintained. Great find man

Hey thanks! It's cool to know they're still out there being used for what they were built to do; haul junk and rack up miles.

Sweet ride - just picked up a '93 wagon 5-speed just like yours but less rust. It was being sold for parts as it is not running. Just did a compression test and looks like broken timing belt - parts ordered. I have a dog and this is the ideal car for dog transport - dog care and footprints along with nose prints - bring it!

Can you bolt up a wrx 5speed and matching rear diff? sourcing a legacy driveshaft My be challenging

different wheel covers on one side vs the other?
@Christosan88 Жыл бұрын
You spoke about bogging did you ever figure the source of that issue? I have a 97 legacy outback limited 5speed and I have the bogging below 3k rpms. Is this a factory feature or something in the trans is causing this cause she free revs just fine

@@hankscorpio7467 We/I have had a 1992 Subaru Legacy Model L white, but Sedan and shape was a bit curved better... And they had a few minor changes for the Engines and so on... Same quality Engine 2.2 l Except our was much cleaner in Cushion (as I was an Upholstery Guy) I had a few things Soup up... And believe it or not; the Original Timing-Belt was on it until 2019 = where we/I had the Belt changed... Subaru Tech Lady was shocked 😲 😲 because then the Belt was older than her / she was born 1993!!! Sadly the Car was stolen this May 2023 = and those Thieves even came with the Tow Truck like those tow 🚚 🚚 that AMA tow your car on highway ... And the Police did not even have a Glue how to trace them ... Perhaps they don't care...? Only CV Axels and 🔋 🔋 Changed once/ Twice 🔋 🔋 because it is really cold here... Winter is sometimes minus 40°F/C cold!! And the Car withstood with such harshly Temperaments... The Extra Rims and Bridgestone Tires we ordered still look like new in 2 of them... as I rotated them around only 2 front... Changed oils 4 times annually and Flush Coolant every winter comes since 2002; and all of those Maintenances made the Subaru 1992 stood with time in extreme Cold and cost us less than 3k CAD 🍁 🍁 Dollars for all the Repair at the Shop; others like Sparkplugs and Cords I have changed them myself, use OEM Genuine Subaru Parts... It was worth and even we had a Camry V6 LE 1993 and Honda Civic DX 1993; I would prefer the Subaru because I would not be spined or lost controls on "Black-iced" Paths.. Happy Holidays to all and the Subaru Enthusiasts 🥂 🥂 🍷 🍷 🎅 🎅 🎄 🎄 📦 📦 🗃 🗃 🌿 🌿 Cheers,
