this totally makes sense and eliminates the knots and bumps from braiding which helps to trap sweat n makes the hair smelly. bet it's easier to shampoo and dry this method as well.. love it tierra.. what's the technical name or more popular name for it? I'd like to try and see if any local hairstylist can do it

without micro links or with it some would consider this a Malaysian technique
@ninamcrae7295
@ninamcrae7295 7 жыл бұрын
+beautifuldistractionatl the Brazilian and Malaysian techniques are similar but use tiny tubes instead of rings and even smaller sections of hair.in the malaysian method ,once the row is completed the stylist goes back and takes a section of each of the already linked hairs and links those sections together to relieve and distribute the tension placed on the single linked strands forming a v like formation.

Yall, the last time I had a sew in (November 2013), I ended up with a LARGE egg sized bald spot in the crown of my head. I've been afraid since. If I can find a good stylist, I will go through with it. thanks for the advice.

First let me say, from one hairstylist to another, I love your videos and your work!!! I've always wanted to do something like this on my clients, but I always wondered about breakage and how it would hold up. Have your clients ever experienced breakage with this technique and do you suggest this be used only on thicker hair or all hair types? Thanks in advance!!

Great showing this technique. I always wanted to know how to do this. If you do another video with this technique could you slow down and show where the needle and thread are going in relation to the bead and empty space. It looked flawless. Question... Is this called fusion? And I missed how you remove the beads properly. Thanks!

Great job! I just wanted to note that this type of sew-in is likely best for those who don't have to heat style their hair too often. Not for those who do not know how to work with their own natural hair. It's more permanent than clip-ins, so if you can wear those, you can wear this.

You’d just pinch the bead in the opposite direction. So instead of it being pinched closed you’d pinch it the opposite way to make it “open”. So she’s pinching them to close vertically- to open you’d pinch horizontally. Sorry for rambling- hopefully that makes sense.

What is the best sew-in technique for fine thin hair? I had microbeads and they just kept slipping out. I’ve had a regular sew-in with cornrows. But I would like something more natural looking and is more flat to the scalp. What is the best technique?
