Damn, I haven’t heard this song since the album came out, I drum along with “In Kind” on a daily basis, because that is one of the sickest drum tunes to come out of that whole sphere of music in a while, but I never really listen to Braids other than the handful of tunes from the first album of theirs that I play. Amends is still a catchy and hypnotic tune. Kinda reminds me of that “Leisure Problems” guy, the Nic Jar type-a-jams.

You're absolutely spot on here, this kind of sound is what a LOT of bands are doing nowadays, and even though i do love this kind of style, the art rock from Native Speaker with the long songs, good vibes, and instrumentation is what kept my interest going in Braids. Not to say that this isn't a good song, because it is. But it's just kind of sad to see them doing something that everyone else is doing

If you liked this version of Amends (as opposed to the others ) you may like songs featuring similar vocal styles.....like Isobel Helen (Cutler - Romulus) and Lykki Li (Little Bit). Thanks Braidsmusic for making really trippy tunes. ....Especially proud you're Canadian and originally from here in Cowtown.

I'm also grateful for these sounds. I'll share share with you my favourites, kinda going in this vibe: Qtier - Set Me On in David August's remix, and Ghostpoet - Sorry My Love, It's You Not Me. Once again, thanks for sharing great music.

Hi Braids, I was listening to Lemonade and Amends this morning and it reminds me of electronic music from the early 70's a band called Tangerine Dream. Check out their album Phaedra, especially "Mysterious Semblance At The Strand Of Nightmares" Love you guys! Skye :-)

best new song i heard in a while, such a great buildup and the kick is amazing. This has definetely it's own thing going, way more refined and delicate than purity ring or grimes, but it reminds me in some way of nosaj thing, you can see how much thought went into this

this song is really awesome. but i really hope they haven't totally abandoned the guitars and weird "warm" and "organic" feel that the first album had. i feel like the space they inhabited in a sorta "art-rock" style was more interesting and under-represented in today's music scene than them being an abstract electronic project. even though this is one of the better electronic songs to come out lately, it feels like a pretty saturated market.

If you want that whiney, Braids sound - the sound of someone who doesn't understand a joke that actually makes fun of hair metal lead singer ego, as opposed to imposing some imaginary persecution of women, and then tries to make self-promotion mileage out of it, by making ridiculous noises about 'defeating some imaginary sexist gear community' - this pedal will get you there ... !! CHECK IT OUT !! kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIvapaiDoq6cp6c
