I’ve been watching this channel for some time now. I used to do aggressive inline for awhile until I just lost the passion for it due to life events. Seeing you guys out there doing what you do has been an influence in me getting back out skating and we need to talk about something for a second...every member of this team is extremely talented, deserves so much respect, and you ALL bring something unique to the “table”. This video comment is for JD though. I’ve looked into some of your past videos you’ve done and though noticing your talent in those videos, I have seen such amazing progress in your skating while with Braille. That’s what teams are for though - they help push you to do things you never thought you could do. You, JD, charge forward and commit to everything you set your mind to. I literally feel your frustration and angst when stuff just doesn’t line up right because I’ve been there too. Keep charging forward dude. You have such a great team behind you and that also goes out to all the other Braille members; you’re all there for one another. You’re going to smash that 720 and I can’t wait to see all of the team lose their minds when you do.

Thanks for getting vert out there! I'm a novice vert rollerblader who only gets about 2 sessions a month in since there aren't lots of ramps around and I eat up any and all wheels on vert ramps. I love seeing the progress others make because there isn't anyone else at the park that actually rides the ramp but me so it's cool to at least see people in other places trying vert. Hopefully it leads to more Vert Ramps!

Great persistence JD! I think 720 is a pretty serious trick that needs to take a bit of time to get both mind and body used to. Time is often a factor that should not be neglected. Like Mike suggested, your body alignment might be looking a little vertical, and far out to flat? Maybe that’s why your bails are hurting your ankle more? But maybe that’s the natural path your body wants to take in order to navigate through the spin? I’m sure you have some 720 veterans to talk to though. Keep it up man! I’m sure you got it soon.

JD, I watched you plant your feet on the deck, wheels onto tranny, during your 720 tries with your friends. That time when the 900 was dropped. You slammed. BUT you committed! Do what you told Andy A. Take a break. Do what you do best, skate, and try other tricks and come back to this later. Think about it when you're NOT skating. When you resting. Calm, and doing other things. Think about the setup air. Think about the first rotation. Think about where your looking. Spot your landing. Imagine it. Over, and over, and over. And when that day comes. Your sessions are smooth. You're feeling strong. And your feeling relaxed. Block out everyone and everything. Nothing but silence in your mind, and the thoughts of ......setup......rotate.....spot...... And that silence will continue until you hear those four wheels hit and you roll away. I do something similar everyday for myself. I'm over 45 and I'm not throwing 720s Down, LOL! But when snowboarding and wanting the bomb a nice 2 or 3 mi run. I try and relax, my mind, remember what I need to do, and my body just moves and reacts. But, your mind is the most important part of your body. And if you conquer your mind, your body will follow. When you're at the top of a mountain or ramp ready to drop in, just yell out "SEND IT!" ;-) You Got This! Just........... SEND IT! -Over 40 and Still Roll'n
