Love this start to a series, and you are totally right. I got to a point where I would only try to tre flip all day and once I took the time to back away from that and look at other tricks I had a lot more fun and then coming back to the tres with that extra knowledge helped me to progress. Great tips and great video

I've been skating regular, I've got the riding basics and Ollie's down pretty well but I took a skate stance test the other day and realized that when I was mongo pushing, I should have learned to skate Goofy instead of Regular. So I'm going to try and learn to skate goofy and go from there instead of continuing my regular, hopefully when I get to switch tricks I'll still remember regular. Anyways, I'm right there with you Lance! Lets do this!

I back this vid and all of these tips were great, but i'm sorry to say tip at 1:98 is a terrible idea. Even though i understand the purpose of this, (trying to get more control) it's a terrible thing to do to a board. SO KIDS: if you are going to stop like this, or have been doing this, do it on the heel of your shoe. The rubber on you shoe is far more durable than the tail of your board and will last longer. So if you want to practice this, lean back, and stop of the heel of your shoe. NOT your tail

meant 1:58 haha
