(Ages 7-14) In this video I will guide you through a series of movements that will increase your cognitive functions, memory, creativity, balancing your nervous system, circulation, breath control and balancing the 2 hemispheres of your brain.
Most people are functioning in life with one hemisphere of the brain being dominant. To reach our full human potential it is important that we activate both hemispheres. Especially as children or kids. As their brains develop it is very important that they get used to using both sides.
Left Hemisphere of your brain controls more of logic, reasoning, mathematics and the right side of the body.
Right Hemisphere of your brain controls more of creativity, arts, imagination and the left side of the body.
When you cross arms and legs to the opposite side of the body you begin to activate that hemisphere of your brain. These easy and fun techniques are directly tied to activated your FULL BRAIN!
The breathing methods performed in this video are there to balance your nervous system and also activate the parasympathetic nervous system. When you raise your heart rate through exercise and movements you activate your Sympathetic Nervous System. When you breath in a 2x4 breathing pattern you lower your heart rate, blood pressure and activate more of your Parasympathetic Nervous System. So by doing these movements and then also doing these breathing methods your are learning to strengthen your nervous system leading to increased health, wellness and strength to your nervous system. When you train in this enough then you will be able to withhold stressful situation with ease and not be affected by stressors in a negative way.
