We need to accept diet is a major factor in all illnesses we can prevent. Fresh fruits and vegetables, less or no meat, little to no process food. This is what fuels our body and brain. Exercise and movement is the only way to preserve our mobility and strength. And finally the most important I believe is meditation in nature. The peace and calm I feel is priceless.

Grass-fed beef and wild-caught salmon. Don’t parrot the MSM about meat being bad for you.

Very interesting and well explained. I also like Joe. I'll have to re listen to some of his stuff. For me, it is all about the power within. We tend to only believe in what we see in terms of the actions we take but a lot goes on internally as well, in my opinion, related to our ideas and perceptions of the world around us. You can see it on people's faces, fear and anxiety or wonder and joy. Can't this create toxins and problems in our body? I ask you.

I totally agree with everything you suggested, especially about Alzheimer's. I would also like to reiterate that more and more MDs are beginning to call Alzheimer's "Type 3 Diabetes.' So, in my opinion, trying to go on a Keto, Ketovore or Carnivore diet is best. The less Carbohydrates you consume, the better. In a standard Keto diet, about 20 grams of Carbs or less a day is ideal. Not only stay away from regular sugar, but also high Carb foods like bread, pasta, potatoes or other starchy vegetables, legumes (which are usually half Carb/half protein), and drinks or foods that contain HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup) in the ingredient list. HFCS also contributes to Fatty Liver, which is also another major health concern, especially as one grows older. Berries are considered an ideal fruit if taken in moderation. Too much sweet fruits, especially juice like orange juice, or bananas, can also increase your chances of Fatty LIver. I consider myself Ketovore, which means I get most of my nutrition from animal fats & proteins (eggs, grass-fed butter, grass-fed meats, cheese some dairy (skip the dairy if you know your system may be too sensitive to it). I do still have some vegetables like avocado, artichokes, asparagus, broccoli, etc. I feel good on it, and it's also been proven that the older one gets, the more protein we Seniors need, so eating more meats, fish, shellfish, organ meats, chicken, turkey, even duck or wild game is good for the average Senior. A strictly Carnivore diet has NO carbs and only gets nutrients from animal products. Though it works for a lot of people, both Seniors & younger, it's best used if you have some type of autoimmune disease or severe digestive or allergy issue, since it's an 'elimination diet' and cuts out plant enzymes & protein, which almost is always what one has allergies to. Digestive, allergy and autoimmune diseases are often triggered by certain plant enzymes & proteins, and eliminating will, in many cases, clear-up that medical issue, though it may take several months. Lastly, it's been proven that one gets plenty of fiber in the diet, even on Carnivore, and NO, one CAN live without Carbs. The body needs protein and 'good' fats, but it actually doesn't need Carbs. Also, one gets fatter from eating sugars & Carbs, not from eating animal or plant based fats. For more info. please check out the following doctors on You Tube: Dr. Jason Fung; Dr. Ken Berry; Dr. Sten Ekburg; Dr. Eric Berg; Dr. Robert Cywes and other non-medical 'influencers' like "Steak & Butter Gal'; 'Kent Carnivore' and Thomas DeLaurer.😋
