An Oceanside man who is recovering from a stroke says he can’t afford to attend a brain rehab program after Scripps Health got dropped from the Anthem network following a contract dispute.

Anthem Blue Cross is my employer's health insurance. I hoped that I would make it to January 1st because I hurt my leg. Need an x-ray. I got a totally meek acceptance that I'm not going to be getting that x-ray. Got a $1,000 deductible.

This is NOT true. Despite paying for the premiums DoCTors contract with hospitals and the hospital CEOs control the outcome. The insurances fight amongst themselves over payment and contracts! If the insurance does not make money they will be dropped by providers. The CEOs are the only ones who make any money. There is a REASON why there is a shortage of doctors in this country.
