wonderful teaching, Mr. Burk. I love the connection you make with right attitude about God and the brain and your ability to benefit from right thinking as a result. I work on puzzles to help exercise my brain, and I was working on one that was very difficult for me; I was stumped. Then I went into the bathroom, and while there, looked at myself in the mirror and as usual, began to excoriate myself for being so fat, ugly, etc. ---Suddenly I heard God saying to me something along with lines of disagreeing with my judgment of myself and saying what He thinks of me--how He sees me, etc. I repented and said, "you're correct, Jesus, and I apologize" etc. , and went back to my puzzle-a chastened person. But I suddenly began to go down the list of puzzle words and the answers were coming to me in rapid fire. Then, I realized that if my thoughts and perspective are aligned with God's, I have access to His mind and His abilities.I think that's a little bit of what the result is when God is forming Christ within us; we become more and more aligned with Him, and thus less and less "living in wrath"
