My husband is an Asperger, he has been a Christian for more than 20 years, but he has difficulty experiencing the presence and hence the reality of God. His understanding of the Holy Spirit and spiritual understanding is greatly hindered... and so is our marriage relationship...

Arthur, how would I talk to my spirit myself .. would I still say, “Spirit I ask you to come to the front …. “ or would I say my name… I just looking for context when trying engage my own spirit myself. Talking to my spirit and having conversations with my Spirit on my own. I haven’t yet entirely grasped talking to my spirit myself . It makes more sense when someone else is engaging my spirit, but engaging myself seems to have me stuck or seems awkward .. for a lack of better words
