Exciting new development!! I had a ruptured aneurysm 10 years ago. It was treated with platinum coils but the coils have compacted over time allowing new blood flow back into the aneurysm. I recently had a pipeline stent procedure to redirect the flow. Hopefully, this is a permanent fix. Thank you to all who are advancing these new treatments!

I had a Ruptured 5 years ago and last year I had to have a pipeline stent also... I also have a VP shunt.

Same I had a large un ruptured aneurysm coiled 15 years ago my coils have also compacted I’ve been offered a new treatment called a contour device that I’ll be having fitted in a few weeks I’m hoping this will be the end of it and I won’t need further treatment in the future

I had a pipeline stent and 10 coils for a 22mm aneurysm almost a year ago. It worries me when you say they have a lifetime of about 15years 😳🙈 I am so glad developments of new treatments are being explored. Thank you for your work and talent.

My mom has a 4mm aneurysm and I’m really scared she’s gonna come out of the surgery with no motor functions and acting like a child because that a possibility for them to revert back to child like behavior until they’re rehabilitated. My mother will be receiving an open brain CLIPPING surgery and I’m wondering if she will be okay. Did you have any complications after your surgery where you couldn’t remember peoples names or couldn’t speak properly or understand others speech. Did you have any of those cognitive problems? Maybe even having behavior like a child due to motor functions being lost and you had to rehabilitate yourself to fix it? To be honest I’m not even sure if you could fix acting like a child after open brain surgery, I’m just assuming and hoping you can if that were to happen to my mother. Please respond Donna! Thankyou

I have a titanium clip on my ruptured brain aneurysm. 16 years ago. No problems from my clip. Love hearing about new procedures. I'm very lucky to be here. Anterior communicating artery is where mine happened. 6 hour surgery. Dr. Robert Narotzky did my surgery in Casper Wyoming.

@@elishabarrowsI’m sorry to ask you but I need to know, I just found out my mom has a brain aneurysm. The size of it is 4 MM and she’s going to get an open brain clipping surgery done. Did your moms aneurysm rupture? Or did your mom pass away because the surgery didn’t go well and she passed away after the surgery or during it. I know it’s a hard topic to speak about but please respond sweetheart

Hope you got yours fixed. I didn't know I had an aneurysm until it ruptured 16 years ago. I had to have brain surgery right away or I wouldn't be here. I feel lucky to be alive. It was a long recovery for me. God Bless!

I had a large aneurysm coiled 15 years ago but they’ve compressed so I need further surgery I’m due to have a contour device fitted within the next few weeks but this sounds a lot nicer than coils rattling around in your head

How can I get notified when this treatment receives FDA approval? Also, I would like to ask Dr. Becker whether he has studied the efficacy of NeuroCURE for treatment of a failed coiling (an aneurysm that would typically be re-embolized)? Thank you for sharing this information!
