I just had my tumor out. They said they got everything visible on the MRI. It was a grade 2 oligodenroglioma. Hopefully I have some time to live left. Sounds like I do. Surgery recovery was not fun.

In 1984 I was diagnosed with CMV. At first they thought it was mono, but the test was inconclusive for mono and said it was CMV. My sister however was never diagnosed with CMV and she is the one who was recently (11/14) diagnosed with a GBM. would she and or I be eligible for a study? I am all for finding a cure for GBM.

Sorry to hear about the gbm its a horribld desease kills within 18 mths with all treatments available. Good luck
