This really helps. I just add that I say No matter what every asseholes people say I just love myself because 90% are usually awful people telling how they expect somenone else to be or behave and then they judge. If not by words then in their minds. They are so egoistic. Yes I am judging now but I do it conciously.

To me the anxiety manifests strongly in the anticipation of going out and meeting others. I make unrealistic unpleasant scenarios in my head and I feel afraid/not worthy/unable to go out … :(

I must point out that a lot of meditators do this which can be frustrating for some including me. They forget to put pauses in their meditation. Give the heart and mind time to heal and do the instructions by itself. Constantly getting interrupted feels like we’re in a rush and conflicts with the mind’s process of relaxing and doing the instructions. Include pauses in between instruction so that our mind can take in the stimuli and process it in our own way❤

Great approach, I like trying different methods. I'm finding meditation to be incredibly freeing, especially emotionally, the positive changes to thinking is refreshing, and my personal plan is to make this a daily habit, a healthy addiction! I try to incorporate faith, breathing, self-acceptance. We live in a crazy world, where things like depression, and anxiety are in abundance, because it is so unnatural from what we evolved from, the basics of what it is be conscious, alive, and connected! Hopefully all of us can look inward, heal, find peace, and accept that although we are part of a collective unconscious, we can maintain strong personal boundaries in life, while still being open to love/self-love. Thank you to the people who created the video!

Day 5. "It doesn't matter what anyone else says, because at the end of the day, it is about me accepting myself" I really understand the meaning of these words today and its liberating to know that as long as I accept myself, I won't be affected by how people view me or what they think of me, I can still be confident and free just as I am. I feel lighter. Thank you for guiding me today too

I freeze even at cashier's counter if it's an unfamiliar. I am 32 now and my social anxiety has reached all time high. My question is how to do mindfulness during a social situation.
@janegoodfellow15296 ай бұрын
I find slow, deep nasal breathing (in through the nose out through the mouth) helps. The stress of social situations means I often forget to do it, but when I remember it's always beneficial. Or breathing into the part of the body where I feel the fear.

Anxiety has nothing to do with low self confidence. Deep down I believe I am superior to most people. Yet I am crippled by OCD and anxiety
@RestorationsFOD9 ай бұрын
I think a more accurate statement would be, anxiety isn’t always connected to self low confidence. To say it has nothing to do with it would imply that you know for certain what everybody else feels! I suffer from low self confidence and anxiety, among other things including OCD. I hope you can find the help you need to help manage your condition! All the best
