Exactly….I like to start my day early with prayer, a whole chapter in proverbs matching the day of the month and a chapter in the New Testament..That really helps me KNOW that Christ is there in everything as well in More Love for me than any person has ever had for me..That only comes to us by a CONNECTION with Jesus in a Private & intimate way. ❤️

1. Constantly checking and examining my feelings. 2. Increasing speed and pressure during stress. 3. Getting lost anywhere else in my mind that is not here. 4. Being critical on myself, especially when I'm down. 5. Obsessing over "what am I doing wrong" or "what should I be doing that I am not doing?" 6. Compulsively focusing on "fixing myself " VS learning to be loved and to live in love. 7. Catastrophizing 8. Comparing myself 9. Carrying people's burdens for them. 10. Controlling what people think of me.

Everything spoke to me, but here are the phrases that popped out the most: 💡 “I am right where I need to be to learn what I need to learn.” 💡 “To value MY journey.” 💡 “You’re trying to encounter the Father from a distance to change yourself. No, what you need is connection with God; out of that, you are changed. And connection is brought about by LOVE.” (I “knew” this truth, but something about the way it was phrased this time turned on a light.)

Mark, in my journey of being restored after the recent death of my husband of 50+ years, the Lord began to walk me through a healing process of knowing who I am. I am up to 7 things about me that I need to understand, embrace and let go of. Imagine the shock I felt when your video was revealed to me. All 7 of my revelations are on your list. I found confirmation and clarity through you. Thank you!

As I got close to 70 years old and now has just passed it, I found number 7 to be a really hard to overcome. Especially at night around three or 4 o’clock in the morning I think about how any negative becomes a doom cycle. I am sort of OCD-GAD type of person. i’ve always handled it pretty well, but now in my older age, it’s that much more challenging and I’m trying to do everything I’ve ever learned and all the therapies are done to overcome this catastrophizing mentality.

These are great insights! One thing I am learning to do along the line of checking my emotions and growing what I focus on, is that upon waking up I push out any negative thoughts and emotions by drawing near to God in praise and worship and speaking out scripture. It sometimes takes a half hour or more but it always works eventually. I find it’s true that I give power to whatever I turn my focus to, so the more quickly I can turn from focussing on negatives the better all around.

I used to dwell in the love of God and walk in the Spirit and it was the period of time that I lived more holy naturally, without even trying. Then negative teachings came which made me doubt the possibility of losing my salvation in the future. It made me feel unloved by the Lord and I found it hard to believe I was a new creation in Christ. This eventually lead me to worry and fear about many things. I used to pray and read the Bible for many hours a day. But after those wrong beliefs came in, My prayer time decreased and I developed OCD symptoms and found it more difficult to walk in the sPirit. I developed a low self image and I fell into a specific sin and temptation I never was tempted by in my whole Christian life since I got saved nearly a decade ago. Eventhough I wouldn't commit this sin frequently, it ate away at my mental and Spiritual health and I even quit my job which became pressurizing on me. I struggled so much and no one to help me. But then the Lord led me to your channel and I feel understood that someone is talking about this and not making me feel evil but loved by God

I literally felt Holy Spirit laughter come over me when I stopped to just breathe slowly..and all the times I've tried to "help" family during holidays at times when I could have just stopped and enjoyed the moment and relax..I'm seeing it now..the whole performance issue..wow..ALL of them spoke to me...thank you for being transparent.

I Thank God for for Mark, who has gone through mental and emotional experience himself, and now to be able to help those who are going through it and not knowing how to deal with it is such a blessing from above. We are spiritual being, however, we are still in this carnal nature and we need to master our emotions. We walk by faith and not by sight. Sometimes easier said than done. So bro. Mark, thank you for this Ministry, first time I have anxiety attack. I did not know what to do with it nor deal with how i was feeling. Having my heart like it’s going to explode is so scary. Thank God for the scriptures and now this ministry. Started listening to your video. Totally totally helped me understand what is going on.

Just came across your vid for the first time and it was exactly what I need to hear right now! I have found myself doing all on this list at one time or another. It is comforting to know that it's not just me who is despairing, broken, depressed, crazy, weird, mentally damaged, etc., but that it's actually a common human condition. Knowing it's not "just me" is a relief. I love that you are a man of God because healing is found in Christ. The struggle is also REAL, but it's that struggle, that weakness, that despair, that leads us to the Healer and keeps us there. Thanks for this vid. I look forward to watching more. God bless you and your mission!!

This was so profound! Thanks for sharing. Edit: Can you do an opposite topic? e.g. Habits to do to improve your mental health. Love & blessings to you and your family Mark!

@markdejesus thank you so much for this. I will have to watch it again to identify which of the 10 resonated with me the most. By the way, I am almost done reading God Loves Me and I Love Myself. A excellent book! Thanks again!
