Poignant and beautiful like their love and connection during their relationship. The funeral procession when everyone stopped and paid their respects was so touching. For such a beautiful soul like Isak, it was very fitting. Amazing season so far.

Don't forget in the '89 timeline, the collapse of the Japanese boom economy is right around the corner. It took down a lot of real estate speculators and hedge fund power players who were leveraged to the hilt at that time. It will be interesting to see how the fall of Japan's priggish "Business Man Of The Year" - Abe San, is portrayed. And I suspect that will play out opposite the A- bombing of Nagasaki. I'm expecting that episode will have as many ramifications as last season's one about The Great Kanto Earthquake did. The ending of "Chapter Ten" was nothing short of pure cinematic poetry. Stunning in its impact and lingering in its emotional resonance.

It's so sad that the people who got the brunt of the nuclear bombing in Japan are the innocent ppl like the ppl portrayed in this series, who are just trying to survive from the effects of poverty. These ppl had no voice to speak out against their government and if they did, they'd be incarcerated.
