I was in 3rd or 4th grade when this came out, rented it often back then, own it now had to order it years back cause it's just so nostalgic and really captured the early 90's so well. From the music to the daily rush home from school to play the newest video games or to watch and then rewatch our favorite movies, right down to the Fangoria magazine subscription to keep you up to date before the internet. Just nailed this time perfectly. So good to see both these two together again... man how time flies. But BrainScan is one of those classic 90's flicks that literally takes me back to that place every time, so endless thanks for that. Really looking forward to The Forest Hills release and see more from both Eddie and Jamie in the future!

So I've always owned a copy and great fricken memory.

I worked on this American indie horror movie as the only Dutch guy and the cast and crew all knew each other so I was a bit of an outsider during the screening - was when I first met them in person. And the gaffer was playing with a basketball spinning it on his finger and not quite managing it. So I said: “maybe you oughta try that with DVDs just The Trickster in” and in harmony we all said “Brainscan”. And it broke the ice instantly. We are all horror geeks and we all love that movie.

I remember my aunt taking me to see it. It was a gloomy rainy day and the theater was dead. We showed up early and I remember playing MK3 in the lobby. This kid was playing when I walked up like the type of kid that would bully me so I was hesitant but he looked at me and was like "hey man you wanna take over I gotta get to my movie". I thought that was cool and I enjoyed the movie and was obsessed with that theme song from it. Good times.

If it's something you don't spend much time thinking about you start to forget and many memories become passive, someone else needs to trigger the memory. Where as T2 and American History X, those were such a big deal that he remembers a lot about making those movies. He doesn't look like he's doing any hard drugs or anything anymore. I see absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. Just two actors getting together talking about a movie. Never let that kind of judgment get in the way of a good thing. If only we could get passed ourselves and appreciate other people regardless of the trivial things. And it's not often you get to see these two guys talk together. Heck , I haven't seen Jamie Marsh in a interview or anything since the movie so I couldn't be more overjoyed at just sitting here & listen , happily.
