"Puffy crawled away" refers to puffy running when 2pac and the death row enterauge ran into puffy and biggie at 96 soul train awards . Puffy ran and hid under a tour bus apparently.

But they said 2pac wasn't lyrical.....it just proves that people haven't listened and they don't understand his approach to lyricism. You can hear the influence of his knowledge of poetry. Theme and development he uses and he had a way making words rhyme that naturally don't. That's pure skill. Gotta be on the right frequency to comprehend 2pac. And his fucking rhythm on this is insane. I could take his rhythm and assign notes to it and it would be one of the greatest jazz solos.

The reason they say he isnt lyrical is because he makes it look easy. He’s so smooth with it.

It’s crazy how Pac was getting better lyrically each album. Pac studies the rappers that not only inspire him but the ones that are worthy and feels are his biggest competition. Pac was studying Nas album before he died.

The fact he listens to Nas album doesn’t mean he’s studying anything from the album. Pac is like a god to Nas and Nas admit to it. Rappers do listen to others rappers album.

For anyone that doesn't trust Mark's reaction are genuine , 2pac said it best throw up your finger! He doesn't ask for money, he doesn't have a membership (I think he should), he's not monetized and he actually responds to his audience and responds to personal messages. Who else is trying to understand cultural struggles and look past the music, into the lyrically meaning? I have sent Mark information that had nothing to do with music and he responds. So from now on I'm throwing up the finger to the haters🖕

"But Tupac isn't lyrical" it's disingenuous for people to keep saying that, they're not paying attention, they're not listening. His verbal concepts/content make him a 1%er lyrically. There's a finite group of rappers historically in this field.

"The way my niggas strategize don't nobody die unless we planned it" Could it be he's also talking about his own death, he's referenced to it on many other songs in a similiar way, for example on Ambitionz Az a Ridah he had a line saying "When it's time to die, then be a man and pick the way you leave" and on Death Around the Corner he said "A real motherfucker will pick the time he goes" 🤔 he's also talked about him already being murdered on tracks such as Ain't Hard 2 Find and Niggaz Done Changed. He seemed to know he was going to die early, so maybe he put these kind of messages in his songs for a reason, maybe to make people think he's still alive or something ? Who knows but it's interesting to think about

What people gotta understand is, tupac was about timing. If he had of came out lyrical straight out the gate from the beginning. Nobody would have listened to him like talking about. Based on his energy and who he was. He knew his energy would serve best rapping straight, savage, and simple. Then afte the success make more of what he personally wanted. Because people would give a fuck to listen because he would have the power and popularity to get away with it. And for everybody mentioning rappers like nas and others around that time. How long did they succeed without eventually trying one of the steps in Tupac's blueprint? Eventually u seen nas with the tied rag on his head, eventually u seen other rappers wearing jewelry and versace or some name brand shit and doing commercials. Investing in sports and other business ideas. Eventually you seen rappers getting on some beef shit. Pac touched all those steps at the highest level. He knew it would be best to be lyrical after u get the money and fame. And a black panther pac with a full lyrical album was too dangerous for the industry. Hence to why they took him out while the beef was hot. Before he made "One Nation" that would have killed all the rap beef trends before the 2000s. And that alone would have took alot of rappers who got popular off of it out. And u know who im talking about.
