Dr dre has a team of producers like mel man, khalil etc. quik makes all his beats himself. However dre is more of a quincy jones genius who polishes albums sonically.. but even he uses segal for his mixing.

DJ Quik got down on this track. He used 7 samples in this song, four from Richard Pryor, the comedian, but the main beat comes from the Detroit Emeralds' "You're Getting A Little Too Smart" and the horns from Fred Wesley's cover of "Up For The Downstroke". Once again Pac shows why many rappers feared him. He had no qualms about letting anyone know he was down for his. They knew he was real about carrying guns and using them, specially after shooting the two undercover cops they tried to lock him up for. He was also loyal to a fault, and paranoid after all he went through. R.I.P. Pac. Another great reaction, man.
