I love how the first word Nf says in this song is Focus. I had to listen to this song so many times to figure out everything he said because I couldn’t focus. There also isn’t a music video for this song.I agree with your thoughts on NF/Tech. Tech’s verse sounds amazing but it feels hollow or shallow especially after listening to NF’s verse. Could it be 'cause I've been the go-to when it comes to depth? 'Cause I'm the one that they be callin' when the people get fed up And want the music with the visuals, I got a vendetta One of my favorite parts.

Shoot direct, Diffuse the threat.. The go to when it comes to depth. I’m the one they’ll be calling on, when people are fed up (?) Count on one hand who I trust.. Finally someone who doesn’t kiss ass and gives NF credit for the depth in his bars. As he says in Intro he doesn’t use any fillers (I believe it’s Intro) My thoughts on why he did this track with Tech …#1. He broadens his fan base (brilliant). 2. He proves he has the skills to stand in the ring with Tech, who’s been in this game forever. 3. He gets the chance to do a track with someone he respects. Back to your ideas for doing videos live with us! Fuck yes, I’m in. Love your breakdowns with NF, this was another great ✌️❤️

Yeah and I can see the logic for his why and hell if tech asked then you just do it! Respect your opinion, man, I love both NF and Tech N9ne, some of my favorite rappers ever And while NF has always been the quintessential rapper for emotional depth, Tech can certainly pull that off too, if not better than NF To recommend a few deep Tech songs off the top cause he got so many, we'll be here forever, there's songs like Fear, Worldly Angel, Happy Ending, Meant To Happen, The Needle, This Ring, The Rain, Aw Yeah?, What If It Was Me?, Burn The World, etc... where Tech does more than just flexing his technical skills on a track and he's actually saying something of substance Tech got stories for days, man, just like NF, and they both do a great job being so transparent with their audiences, one of the reasons why I love them so much

Agree with with everything you said. This track, to me, and you even said so yourself, is that NF can handle his own on the logical rap side while still mixing in the emotion. Imagine someone in exact opposition as you, a song dropped that Tech is a feature on, Tech fans (like myself for ages) would check it out and then be introduced to this other dude who killed the track. It’s been Tech’s MO since the founding of Strange Music, and NF probably gained a brand following that came here for a completely different niche. They are both masters at marketing and rapping, and as someone who was a fan of both before this dropped, I was more hyped for this one than I was for Lost. On a side note, tying in your rap knowledge and some dudes that can damn sure get emotional, I’d be curious on your thoughts about Headstone by Flatbush Zombies. New York group paying homage to all the greats.
@MichaelScott-ny2xi2 жыл бұрын
The other feature on the mixtape LOST is great Hopsin matches NF with the emotional. I never listened to Hopsin and that sent me down a Hopsin journey. By the way I like when you said "NF fans I am gonna Let You Down" Nice double there hector.

This song is so beastly but I agree they're not exactly suited for each other's mindsets. The song Lost with Hopsin is a more level playing field for thought provoking lyrics. Future does a song featuring NF as well (Epiphany)
