I literally feel like I’ve tried every size happy planner in multiple layouts and I keep coming back to a mini dashboard being enough for me. Enough for my plans and enough for my desire to decorate. I’m excited to get my minis and combine them to be what I want.

This has been so helpful to see. I tend to get overwhelmed each year trying to figure out what planner layout will work for me and so I base it on a cover instead of what layout would be helpful. This video helps so much!

I love this exercise. I am often frustrated over not having my planners where I need them and having to go get what I need. Most often I just end up jotting things down on scraps of paper. So simple but so practical. Doing this for sure.

Helpful for sure - as a working/homeschool mama of 4 - let me warn you about expectations. Give yourself grace. Ditch what doesn't work. Side note: That travelers notebook might work well for self care, faith, and fitness. Excited to see what makes the cut.

I also work at a large university and I learned very quickly that it was a backpack campus and not a cute bag campus! The commute from my car to office is a smooth 10 mins. Lol. I am also hybrid and the light came on when you talked about using a smaller mobile planner! GENIUS!

Yay!! Higher Ed folks unite! Yeah try the half letter size and see if it’s enough room for you! I discovered I liked that size when I tried the small HP Organized planner that you can find at Walmart! It’s an inexpensive way to try the half letter size without spending a ton on discbound inserts!

Wow, this is impressive , Elizabeth..I did watch the full length. You gave me company, while I was baking some cookies for a Boy Scouts event . First of all, hats off to you Super Mama for the fun things you have planned for 2023. Your process did get me thinking on what else I want to include in my life for the coming year. I think you should have the Green Velvet bullet journal for special milestones for Ester. Also, you could include funny conversations kids have as they start talking , those will be really precious to look back at , in future. Can't wait to see the rest of the videos in the playlist.

I totally do this! I make notes throughout the last quarter on the note page in the back of my catchall planner! I also write notes to myself of things to do/not do next year.

The only concern I have with work + life is if you need to go to expanders, it won’t accommodate them.

Yes, definitely something to be mindful of with Work+Life! I'd probably just keep that in mind as I memory keep...I don't plan to do a daily/weekly in the memory keeper, so should be alright....?!

@ejjoyfulplans i am using it in classic size. I have used classic size for memory planning since 2020, and it had worked out well for me. In the month calendar section i usually write in one memory from each fay or add a small picture if some things awesome happened. Then i like using the horizontal guts so that i can journal about my day. And i also add pictures to the bottom right of the horizontal week since its not specific to any day.

I love when you explain your process and brainstorm. It’s so helpful and I get so many ideas. I’m having a difficult time when it comes to my wellness planner because I don’t like the new changes to the dashboard. So I’m going to attempt to use the monthly layout 😬 it’s very different and I think creatively it will be fun to try something new.

Up front I love watching your videos. Just want to show a different view on your planning 2023 needs as an option. Please keep up your awesome work. How I would have grouped everything. Keeping in mind the different meanings for Planner and Journals, yes, those are not synonymous to each other. work = planner Home to dos = planner and only one which means to go Health and fitness, self-care = journal Social media = Planner Goals = journal, because that way the main focus is the context and not the timeline which would happen when you plan them on doing in your planners the one for home and the one for work Memories = journal Your Journal points as well journal. Finances = journal as well as digital keeps you from having to sum it up and making mistakes. I use excel and only keep monthly results in a journal for comparison reason. I do have a more in depth blog post and some shorts about the differences of planner and journal, which you can find on my channel.

@EJjoyful Plans I'm feeling pretty good about it. I added my half letter back in with C&P inserts for work. And for the first time I'm using a Big Dashboard for home and budget. Everything else (classic vertical for creative and horizontal for faith journaling) I'm frankenplanning 😊. Oh and Mini horizontal for EDC.

The first one will be a catch-all (appointments, events, etc); the second will be a…most similar to a project planner / running to-do list (just the way my brain works). All my other planners are actually being used as trackers😊
