Thanks for your superb video on the auto show in Braintree. What a tremendous variety of great-looking classics. My Dad was stationed at the USAF airbase at RAF Wethersfield from 1955 to 1958. We lived the first year in Felsted and in Sible Hedingham for the remaining years. Braintree was nearby and we would catch the train there to visit London. Dad retired in 1959 and we moved to Austin, TX where I got his hand-me-down 1959 Ford Consul for my sophomore year in high school (1962-63). Hence, I enjoyed seeing the charcoal 1960 (?) Consul at your show. I used to write for a car club magazine "Motorvatin' USA" that was edited by Yvette Barrett in Braintree. I wonder if she attended your car show? Cheers Jerry; glad you enjoyed it. My wife runs the coffee house in the gardens where the show is held, and so each year I nip round with my camera to do a little highlight/memento for the charitable trust that runs the park. It's a great day out, and raises a decent amount of money to keep the park open for the people of the town. W
