Great video. I recently did my first full brake job on my GTI with performance brakes identical to this Leon. I went back in a week later to touch up on little details I missed the first time.

So on this car the runout was ok. What do you do if the runout is too high, say +0.7mm or more?

You test the hub with the dial test indicator instead of the disc. Usually you finish up replacing the bearing and the hub flange. Most people just throw new brakes on with minimal prep then blame the disc when it runs out of spec and causes thickness variations and judder.
