Which oil do you recommend for that 1.3 12 valve Hyundai engine?

I use a viscosity of 10W40 because i made good experiences with that. The brand is not so important, but please don´t buy the cheapest. Important is to do oil changes regularly, i do all 10.000km.

@@pannonicmechanic I use Petronas 5w30 for that same engine. bearing in mind that I live in Spain where we have hot weather do u think is a good choice or should I use 10w40 instead as you do? I dont know how's the weather there in hungary...

@Antonio Martín García If you don´t have very cold temperatures in Spain, maybe it would be better for you to use a 10W40 oil. You can use this from temperatures of -20° to +40°. The 5W30 is good for temperatures of -30° to +30°. Another aspect is, that the 5W30 is more thin and if the car is old, your oil consumption can be higher. Here in my country we have temperatures from about -15° to +35°. Another example from my own experiences. I tried several oil viscosities in my first Accent and i couldn´t say, if it´s good or bad for that car. So when you made good experiences with the 5W30 oil for a long time, you can continue to use that. I hope i could help you a little bit.

@@pannonicmechanic I have the taillight below near the exhaust that does not work. I checked the bulb and the fuse, but I did not find the problem.

You must check if you have ground and current on the lamp socket. If yes, the bulb can have a defect, which you can´t see but i think, you replaced that as first activity. You could check for some corrosion in the electrical connector of the tail light. Once i damaged the cables by myself because i did some welding job on the side panel of the car. I hope i could help you with this tips. Please keep me updated.
