I thought I had made a comment about the rear brake lever extender - I bought one as recommended on your previous video but i see now that there is some modification needed - thankfully I can use a hacksaw and a file :-)

Hey Ben, the front location where you installed the brake snake won’t prevent something from getting between your brake lever and engine. You need to move the front location inward to your frame or skid/bash plate.

i had a fall and the ground pulled the brake lever wide . that is the main reason for the point of attachment .

Do not go for Any kind of coating on upper body(fuel tank, mud guards etc) If you want to prevent the factory paint for long and extra caring about your bike like me then go for a good ppf or wraps.

Ben, this is one area we need some jugaad, we know it comes from the gear position sensor and the literature is there but there are no real plug and play solutions except to disconnect the sensor or go for the hitchcock loom which is an expensive option for many of us earning in ₹ 😁.

@@ramv2954 cut the red wire to GPS ( gear position sensor )module and connect module power to any power source controlled by ignition. Since there is always Power going to the module. Mine after this the drain is 14ma .

Ben - I am looking to lower the seat height of my Scram 411. I have learnt that using a longer links to connect the swing arm to the rear suspension is the best way to accomplish this. Can you shed more light on this? Can you let me know where I can get the longer link? Or do let me know if there is any other mechanism.

Remove the links and take them to a welder . Ask them to cut in between and add 1 cm material to it . Very high quality steel should help . Otherwise you can order this from Hitchcock motorcycles UK
