Have to say that the drone footage of the mountains and with the music was awesome. You have been doing a great with your camera skills. When does Zac and his family return??

Thank you 😊 That music was a great match for the clip. I didn't have to do much. I was very happy with how well it turned out. They are technically home 🤫, but next weeks video will show them coming home. 😁

The Alpenglow on the mountains is stunningly beautiful! I'm sure you sleep well after all the chores are done and you've walked a ton of steps through knee-deep (or deeper) snow.

Yes! After that much work, sleep comes easy. Agreed, the Alpenglow never gets old. I will always stop to look at it.

It sure is! It can also be really harsh. I am sitting in my warm cabin right now, replying to your comment, while it is blizzard like conditions outside🥶. I think it is an inside kind of day 😄 Thanks for watching.

Try adding sawdust to your potatoes while in storage.
@BRAMANTEBROTHERS

Just spruce sawdust from our firewood? Thanks for the tip 👍🏻
@crockettsinak.1290
@crockettsinak.1290 14 күн бұрын
@ that’ll work. I use shavings from my planer and sawdust from my chainsaw mill. A layer of sawdust a layer of potatoes and so on. Works for carrots as well. They still need to be kept in cold storage. Also laying your potatoes out with the dirt still on them for a week or so helps harden the skin for added protection 👍🏻

Thanks, I'll have to try it. We do cure our potatoes, like you said.
