Bran was the biggest nothing burger. If he had died in the first season everything would have turned out the same except we wouldn’t have had the whole three eyed raven rubbish which was the biggest dead end plot line. He had warging powers and could see into the past and future but made zero use of these powers to help anyone. And at the end he becomes king because…reasons? GRR Martin is probably desperately trying to rewrite to fill in the gaping plot holes the last season exposed. Bran should have been killed off.
